Most difficult nightfall?
Assuming each nightfall has one useful burn in it, what nightfall strike gives you the most problems? I'm interested to hear what you have to say. For me it's always Will of Crota. Hash out your arguments below.
I'm not including the playstation exclusive strikes since I'm really interested in experiences that everyone can have input on. Playstation exclusives would skew the results.
Edit 1: Let us say, for the sake of argument, that the burn is whatever damage type the boss does. (Omnigul is arc, Valus is solar, Nexus is void, etc.)

The WoC is the only NF I have any trouble with soloing if there's a lightswitch modifier on, and even more so if there's angry. Arc burn with that makes it easier in my experience. The problem are all those melee dudes that will bum-rush you. And the way the rooms are laid out, you can't just totally sit back--you have to push up at least a little, and one mistake will end you.

I based it if I was solo... A couple not fat behind.. But definitely omnigul.

5 RepliesI base it on how soloable the strike is, are there safe(ish) spots I can duck in or do I absolutely have to have other people. Like the Nexus, I can usually solo up to the Nexus itself no problem, but between the minotaur up top and I'm not good at getting into the safe spots down below (the jumps are just hinky), so I usually solo up to the Nexus and then post on LFG for a team. People love to come in at that point. Summoning pits has the shrieker room Devil's lair has the little room to the left (assuming you don't have idiot teammates standing outside the main door, when they do that a captain spawns in that room right on top of you.) Archon has the ledge (I always die trying to get under the platform) Risky but doable. Cerberus has a few good spots, you just have to watch for a Phalanx trying to melee you through the crates (I always die on top of the lights) Omnigul has that little room across the way, which can save you from the cursed thralls, but its really easy to get hung up on the junk pile and not make it back on top. So this is another I tend to solo to the boss and then bring in backup. So probably 60 Omnigul 40 Nexus (you could feasibly hide behind the wall and be super careful)

Omnigul is so easy. Just skip half the mobs at the end and you will only have like 5 mobs, omnigul and her wizards

WOC. Is tortuous, sick of her scream and the Knights that think they are so bad ass they have to hide behind shields. Pain in the ass strike (IMO)

There isnt anywhere to really catch your breath unless you pop back to the entrance of the last area, and Shanks absolutely seem to wreck when in mass. That in tandem with constant Captains, Vandals, and that one pesky servitor... It really makes for one hell of a Nightfall. I do suck, but even a noob like myself knows how to utilize the burns. The fact that you have to deal with Vex (Void shielding on Minotaur's, who also happen to be Axis... F.M.L.) AND Fallen (Arc, so you now need not one, but TWO burns for enemies that never seem like they take any legitimate damage from ANYTHING...) is just a hellish one to say the least.

It all depends on the burns. Omnigul with solar was the easiest thing I've ever done in destiny. Omnigul with arc was the hardest.

The Nexus? No way, It's takes no time at all while The Will of Crota actually takes some doing, unless there's a solar burn involved.
