Best chance for exotic drops?
So I was wondering - if you are trying to get an exotic (gally in my case...) are your chances better if you always play normal and then hard on the raids, or does it make no difference if you only do hard? Does anybody know?

Edited by LilCeeza: 4/1/2015 12:28:50 AMI been struggling to get suros regime, so i took 9 hour and lvled up a new character to 20 and added the max crota gear i already had, and made it 32, Went and did crota ( first time on second character) and got my suros... GO LOOK

Anyway dude here's how it is. Some of these people on this post have proven themselves as illiterate children. Here's what you do strictly for exotics. Nightfalls Hard VoG Hard Crota (only beat deathsinger if you want specials and heavies) If you want those drops, kill deathsinger, then join one of the hundreds of normal crota checkpoints where ppl beg for ppl to join. Beat crota and then go back to the hard crota cp you already have. Once you have all normal drops, only do hard. It works amazingly for me. How I got my first gally, then next week I said I want thunderlord and got it, then next week I say I only need Suros and last word and I get Suros. This week I'm going to wait until Friday to run, but I'll probably get my last word this week.

3 RepliesThe method for procuring any exotic is to simply play the game..A lot. Nightfalls and raids give you a better chance overall though.

Don't play for acouple days, then come back and maybe u may be blessed by the RNG Gods. Had this happen to me acouple times before.

Open chest in Vault of Glass Gorgons. Kill atheon on Hard mode only Defeat Ir Yût on normal first(no 2x rewards) Defeat Crota boss on normal Defeat Crota boss on hard Do this every week(3 times if you have 3 characters) the then you will have all exotics.

Normal then hard also do VOG that chest has gotten me prob 15+ exotics from opening it 6 times a week back when I was going hard

2 RepliesHonestly everyone of my exotics that I have gotten besides the ones I purchased from Xur have dropped in the crucible no lie. 3 ghorns, hard light, patience and time, dragons breath and universal remote.
