I think it is just like the necrochasm the worst weapon in the game ...

Super bad range, low firing rate, exotic perk wrapping around rapid hits hence with low firing rate. Imma go ahead and say it's gonna be a flop unless it's impact makes up for it

3 RepliesIf that shotgun just shoots out standard rounds like EVERY other shotgun in the game, then it's crap. But if it is an actual shrapnel launcher like the Fallen use, then that would be a different story.

With the shotgun buff in PvE it'll probably be powerful, but I think it's dumb for the hard raid exotic to be a shotgun. They gave us two crappy auto rifles from hard raids, and now a shotgun? Why not a hand cannon or scout rifle instead?

It's going to be like Necrochasm but even more pointless because the gun should kill fast for a shotgun, so it's going to be like a gimped Thorn that has nothing going for it. What's with all these useless repeat perks that barely add any originality to the new guns let alone their viability. Maybe I'm being too harsh on the gun but shotgun (Burst Dps) + burn (DoT) seems kind of useless to the point of it being a wasted perk on the gun. All it will do is help you cleanup kills where your accuracy wasn't the best, and even then it's probably going to be weak compared to Thorn at the rate they're developing Exotic turds and Legendaries that're better a whole patch or two later. (Sigh.)

Edited by kimjongir: 4/1/2015 3:44:51 PMIf the Necrochasm, No Land Beyond, etc are any indication, the perk on Lord of Wolves will be "I Could Do This In My Sleep" - it grants you an extra 5 second delay to your enemies' respawn timers in Crucible so you can LOL and teabag them because you actually managed to kill them with one of the worst weapons in the game. Bungie. Seriously. Necro and NLB are garbage. Fix plez.
