Higher Level areas for Patrol

Yes. Level areas.

No level areas.

Don't care.

Higher Level areas. Areas where one encounters only opponent with a certain level. On all the planets there should be an area with enemies on for the highest level. Opponents level should increase continuously, so on the one penetrates the area. Example: Level: 1-5, 5-10, 10-15 ... 30-32 Especially useful for patrol missions at higher levels. And the replay value known areas. Write in the comments what you think. Edit1: The experience garnered in effecting opponents would have to be adjusted. For example a level 2 vandal gives 20 exp and a level 20 Vandal gives 20 exp. A level 2 Major Vandal gives 55 exp and a level 20 Major Vandal gives 55 exp. @Gearhead31 Edit2: A change in the loot system would provide for level areas a broader sense. In addition to the higher level of difficulty. Enemys with higher levels drop better loot. The level of the loot is adapted to the level of the opponents. A change in the EP system (experience) is no longer necessary. ___________________________________________ Survey for OpenPvP: https://www.bungie.net/de/Forum/Post/112704163/0/0 Survey for RAID Matchmaking with roles: https://www.bungie.net/de/Forum/Post/112458679/0/0

  • Quick win: add a nightmare mode for patrol (also posted in deejs thread) Patrol is an area which would be my favorite experience in destiny, the problem is it is too easy now my characters are leveled up, and performing missions often feels like a grind because of the lack of challenge. I would love to have the option to unlock a nightmare mode with super tough enemies, with more interesting bounties once you hit a certain level cap (maybe 29?). You could keep the easy mode for developing players, or alternatively introduce more challenging danger zones to the existing maps. For instance my I absolutely love the crashed plane site in cosmodrome, its such a cool location to engage enemies - but it is not much of a challenge anymore since the enemies are only level 3 or 4. When I first started playing, I remember being intruiged to see tough enemies such as the mysterious blades of crota run around, but now the appeal is lost as he's over with two shots of a shotgun. If you added a mode with level 30+ enemies with some of the features you get on nightfalls such as lightswitch, epic and angry, it could make going on a patrol to run missions - even something as mundane as collecting docking caps from dregs - an exciting challenge. If it also led to more exciting loot drops, maybe even raid gear, shards and exotic bounties (maybe not exotic gear or engrams), or high levels of materials that could be farmed to a reasonable level then it would also include a decent reward system. Public events could be exactly the same as developed today just with the added toughness you might find that you attract higher level players. For me this would represent a quick win - it just uses features that have already been developed in other parts of the game to address a number of issues at once, namely - It would immediately give some of the maxed out players something new to do - It would present a new way to obtain gear (outside of the raids) for a decent enough challenge - It would reduce the feeling of grinding for the same bounties due to the added difficulty - By mixing up it where some of the toughest enemies are located then it would encourage exploration of the destiny maps

    • Level doesn't matter. That is why killing a level 2 dreg takes almost as long as a level 20 dreg All enemies give the same exp amount no matter what level. The only times enemies give higher exp depends on the enemy rank. For example a level 2 vandal gives 20 exp and a level 20 Vandal gives 20 exp. A level 2 Major Vandal gives 55 exp and a level 20 Major Vandal gives 55 exp. All enemies give the same exp in order for high level players to help lower level friends without worrying about wasting time not getting enough exp.
