Pulse Rifles are really unsatisfying.
Since they tweaked Pulse Rifles so that we'd all use them I have tried really hard to enjoy the Pulse Rifle experience, but honestly, is just a wholly unsatisfying gun to play with.
Even if it *does* do damage, it feels like it doesn't. I can't explain why - it just feels ...underwhelming.
Every other gun in the game feels good to use - Hawkmoon, TLW, Vanquisher, Suros, Fang... All feel great to use, but jeesus I can't think of any other weapon in Destiny that is less fun than Pulse Rifles.
The only PR that feels okay, is Bad Juju, which in itself is a great weapon for PVE (but seriously, holster it for any Major or Boss fight) but STILL feels like a peashooter.

1 ReplyIt's the sound and impact. The sound is like you're farting peas at the enemy. The impact is not great. Bad JuJu is the only pulse rifle I use that actually [i]feels[/i] like it has a good punch.
