So seriously...why do you play your class?
So I've leveled up a hunter, warlock and titan all to 32. Got almost every exotic for each of them. I recently deleted my warlock to make a second hunter, keeping my titan. Now before you locks get upset, I didn't delete my warlock because I think they suck. Quite the contrary. Warlocks are awesome. They just don't fit my style of play and quite frankly, I suck with them. How's that for honesty.
After thinking about it for waaaay too long, I decided I'll make a second hunter. It was my first character and still my favorite. Here is why I play hunter(main).
-first character I started with.
-love the lore of hunters and what they do in the destiny world.
-I have the most fun using both classes(only to be rivaled by striker titans)
-They look the coolest to me although warlocks look pretty sick too.
-A challenge to use in raids and pve but also really good in pvp. I play both modes pretty equally now.
So after all is said and done, why is your main...well your main?
Man, that's a lot of replies. Thanks for the input guys and gals. It's been fun reading everyone's thoughts. Hunters, Titans, Warlocks. We all fight the same shit. Play what you like. Have fun!

Love my hunter. First class i ever had. My least fav class probably warlock. I hate the warlock jumps, too delicate for me. Also alot of the time nova bomb goes where it wants to, and i dont need 2 lives for anything. Just the one will do. I will still use my warlock for the fact i have 1 of each but that is all

1 ReplyWarlock, because : - In lore they are the BEST ( toland ) and they are scholars and learners, it fits my personnality a bit more. - Armour. Is. Awsome. Period. - Voidwalker is by far the best class, with Obsidian Mind being the best exotic in game.

Hunter is my main for pretty much the same reasons. Have really started liking my warlock and titan a lot also but the hunter will always have a special place. Even if we weren't wanted for vog when it could be cheesed

My main is my warlock. I picked it when I first got the game. It was picked because I thought the nova bomb ability was incredibly cool. I eventually made the other classes and wanted to see what they were like. Nevertheless, they were all awesome. My at style seem to fit between warlocks and hunters.

I used to main a hunter because I like the assassin-like characters in MMOs, but I also like wizards so then I made a warlock, and while I was making a new character, I decided to just go ahead and make a titan

Cause, a maining hunter, the agility and jumps as well as the lovely golden gun and finesse of the bladedance just topples over everything. It allows both reckless play with the bladedance rushing and then turning invis to retreat, or the control and distance that the golden gun provides as well as the mobility that is triple jump. And the warlock appeals to me as well. The joy that is running out and slaughtering those in my path, only to be gunned down, and then come back and destroy that which took me down with the deadly fusion grenades. Plus the warlock glide is my favorite jump variant

I'm good with my Hunter, starting to learn my Warlock and kind of hate my Titan. I have all 3 at 32, and the Titan is by far my least favorite to play.

The titan looked cool. I think it is the most useful class aside from hunters for sword bearers.

I have one each of every class, but here lately I've been having a lot of fun playing the hunter. I like the light, fast, agile feel the hunter has. Gunslingers with Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's Trance make good guns great and great guns amazing, once the fast reloads and increased stability starts stacking. I feel so damn slow and sluggish after playing the hunter for a while going back to the titan or warlock.

Warlocks are considered to r scholars and tye wield frickin magic while hunter do ballet with daggers.

Hunter, mostly because of my Crucible play style. The jumping, the invisibility, the extra speed. Ninja stuff. And don't even get me started with the Gunslinger+Symbiote combo. I tried all three class types for the first few months of the game and eventually I realized how little time I was spending on the other two. Nowadays I run three Hunters and rotate all of my armor. What ruined it for me with the other classes? Mostly because they both felt sluggish. The jet-packing/gliding was getting me killed more often than it was helping me get around the map. And while I do sometimes feel envious when I'm swiftly obliterated in Crucible by Nova Bomb or Fist of Panic it is so much more gratifying when I'm able to achieve a chain of Super kills with precision and timing. The Hunter is really lacking in PvE aside from invisibility effects and Chain of Woe. I hope Bungie will introduce a sweet 3rd sub-class that changes things up.

3 RepliesWarlock as main. I think they are badass looking, love that with sunsinger I can use it for support and boost allies abilities around me. Then voidwalker I can dish out a mass amount of dps especially with OM/BJ combo. Plus the lore within the grimoire is pretty awesome. One day I hope to see Toland in the game, just straight up owning a planet full of deranged aliens haha.

I mean originally I liked bladedancer because of its speed, but then it just became the class that could best exploit the flaws of destinies crucible. These days I play sunsinger, because their capacity for defensive play I'd amazing, and radiance meshes well with an old favorite of mine, the red death.

1 ReplyHunter, because I like throwing knife, which is like an extra bullet while you reload, triple jump controls better for me in my opinion (instead of floating down to my doom like a dying hot air balloon), the capes/cloaks are badass, helmets actually have eye sockets and kinda form a face, and I feel like they're in the middle; not too strong but not too slow. Kudos to people who prefer other classes but don't make fun of people who prefer one class over the other even if their reasons are silly.

I'm too lazy to get used to the other subclasses and the warlocks are easy to use
