Best sword combo on Crota HM?
I've seen the videos where dudes kill him in 2 swords using no super and only 2 downs per sword. Just curious what the combo is? I usually do 5 R2's per down and get him just below half which isn't close to the damage I've seen done. Any help?

R2's all the way. Maybe a r1 just before ogres to make sure he's in the right spot.

If you're used to doing slashes, use the combo. R2(x2) R1 The R1 will be a heavy uppercut slash that does 12,000~ as opposed to the standard 7,200 of a typical R2. You should have plenty of time to get two in per down. It's the method I use and as long as you land enough of the hits, he should be right around the T and A in crota. (Based of a 3 down per sword strat)

[i][b]Conclusion[/b][/i]: You would be able to kill Crota in two swords placing myself in envy of you due to your ability to take him down in 2 swords on hard only downing him twice per sword. [b][i]P.S[/i][/b]. If the ending health approximation of "-4.62" doesn't mathematically (see what I did there --->...) "add up" ( ;] but really is subtracting or dividing, no pun intended there ((if that even is a pun, not good with those))..) then please don't bash on my joke about the tutor, never said I didn't need one..

5 R2 (RTs) per down x 4 will kill him in two swords. Additionally: A) RB, RB, RT x 2 + RT B) RB + RT x 4 Both of the above will also do it. The main thing is landing all the hits so that they count. If you're trying for a 2 sword I recommend going for 3 downs on first sword to give yourself some room for error in case one of your hits doesn't connect.

I don't use a combo but word has it RB RB RT RB RT RB RT is the best, when I do two sword I just have my group drop crota 3 times per sword and get 4 RTs, 4 rts, then 2 or 3 on the last drop

Just remember that apparently not every sword hit counts as damage or full damage. My group has seen it several times and saw it again tonight but we normally do it in 3 swords with 3 hits each down just to play it safe. We have done that several time s and he still has just a slither of health left. It takes 18 smashes to kill crota so go for 3 smashes each time and you can kill him in 3 swords
