2 RepliesThe gun does 2 shot and has the fastest kill time baring the damage procs on Hawkmoon and TLW. It really needs a fire rate nerf. Not a big one but enough to bring it up to like a .76 kill time which is still massively head of most guns.

2 RepliesPlaying against shit players makes everyone feel OP. Swap out the four idiots in the beginning for your average baboon and you wouldn't have gotten past the first two kills without dying.

Whoever that is in the video is a no talent. Camping with any weapon will yield those results, especially in that map. That bit with the Last Word made that player look like a total scrub. Sorry; not enough to justify a nerf.

Now before I start my reason why the nerf was needed dont hate on me cuz believe it or not i love handcannons and I own some pretty good ones. This time handcanons got an aim assist nerf and a minor but noticeable range and stability nerf. What this translates to is...no more easy headshot kills. The only reason why handcannons were so OP is because the aim assist was so strong at times plus adding the stability and range stats of the cannon(exp: HwkMn, Thorn, any legendary HC with average or + range and stability including perks) that would make it easy for any HC user to go for headshots because 80-90 percent of the time it would always be a comfirmed kill and the crazy thing about this was that even TLW w/ horrid range benefited from the op HC aim assist BEFORE THE PATCH. Before I start I would like to point out that I play as a Warlock Voidwalker with HC,sniper, rockets in Crucible(exp plyr). Now after patch as a full blown HC user I can honestly say that it takes alot more skill to get headshots even on exotic HC. I own HwkMn,Thorn,RedHand9 (w/perks Hipfire,sendit,feedingfrenzy) and have played with them for a decent amount of time after patch an can say that any HC with average or + stats(including perks affecting these stats) in range and stability seem to cancel out the RANGE and STABILITY nerf ONLY. You do notice right away that the SUPER OP aim assist is almost non existent which means that if we HC users want those good'ol headshots we have to relay on our skills and the HC's range and stability stats to achieve headshots not the aim assist. The HC's that I noticed the nerf the most was my Timurs Slash(w/perks zen moment,field scout(PvE) or perfect balance(PvP),feedingfrenzy) and TLW(own it). Both of these weapons suffer from the lack of range or stability stat which means that HC users with The Last Word have to play extremely aggressive close range and take advantage of the HipFire and The Last Word perk because of the lack of range. Same for Timurs Lash HC users they have to pick theyre shots and play at ranged distances becase of the weapons rate of fire and lack of stability. With that said I believe that players should try these weapons out before they cry nerf and see how EASY it is to get HC kills and how it DOESN'T require ANY SKILL AT ALL to use HC. Trust me it takes skill now for those good'ol headshots.

Because it outclasses the other weapons by so much. I have a lot of good players on my friends list, and when I inspect them from my roster, 90% of them are using Thorn. It's getting to be as bad as when everyone abused Suros.... Thorn needs a DoT/stability nerf The Last Word needs a range nerf.

Anyone with decent health took three shots, which is normal for Thorn. I also think it's weird how you're super excited about a 10 kill steak metal; it's all good and impressive, but not worth making a video on it. 20+ killstreaks though, go for it. [Edit] Watching you Last Word footage, you just suck. You could've done a lot more damage and gotten a lot more kills if you were using the weapon correctly, but this video is just sad.

(First game it looks like you were host so you had the advantage) 3. Blind watch game you played more passive/ used cover to your advantage 90% of the time and most players were not full health. Burning shrine you played more aggressive and in the open (took way too much damage). 4. Something else was up on blind watch because you OHK melee and he had full health. ( once again connection issues) edit: nvm he had no shield just full red bar 5. Other legendary HCs can 2-3 kill.

For how hard it was to get over all it actually needs a buff I think. the DoT being reapplied after each shot would be an excellent way of buffing this very hard to obtain weapon in my opinion.

It 2 shot kills if you land two head shots cuz the burn gets them. 3 shots to the body.

People should not be able to shoot and hit 2 times from sniper range with this good def a range and recoil nerf .... For all them thorn users who are gonna be butthurt about this don't try to defended when you knw is true... Bungie just needs to play the game with thorn on and they will see what so many people are talking about
