Ok, I have a Hunter level 32, a Warlock level 31 and a Titan that will be 31 soon. I upgraded my Hunter first and has been my go-to since the game's launch. Most all the weapons I've obtained have come while using the Hunter. What I do is when I switch characters I load all the Hunter weapons in the vault. Bring my other guardian in and snatch all the weapons out. In other words, I do not have specific weapons for each of my guardians. Am I the only one that does this? Just wondering as my buddy thinks I'm nuts. He's got individual weapons for each of his 3 guardians. I keep bugging him about "where the hell is your g'horn". He goes, "oh, well, my Warlock has it".....as I'm smacking myself in the head!!!!
Also, I keep all my exotic armor with my guardians, along with the appropriate fully upgraded legendary piece, so I can easier swap exotics depending on what I'm doing. Do you all do this or keep your spare exotics in the vault and go there to equip?
Cheers

I usually keep only 1 of each weapon and swap them around as needed. Generally I have 1-2 "go to" weapons that I prefer for primary, secondary and heavy slots and I just stick to those. Saves on materials and glimmer and since they are the weapons I have the most fun with I generally enjoy the game more.
-
I use different weapon class load outs on all of my guardians. Hunter: hand cannon/scout rifle, titan: pulse rifle, and warlock: auto rifle.
-
All 3 characyers equals loadouts for all 3 characters
-
I use different things :) for example, Titan - hawkmoon Warlock - thorn Hunter - tlw :-)
-
I switch weapons, and until I bother leveling a new weapon, I don't have character specific ones, at least not maxed.
-
they added the option to switch loadouts with the app for a reason
-
I have one set of guns that get switched around on my characters. When all my characters were 20+ I wanted to give each guy their own guns. But I realized that's a waste of my time to level the guns up so I just used one set.
-
I used to do that... Until I got 3 fatebringers, 3 icebreakers, 3 suros, 3 red death, 3 hawkmoon, 3 black hammer, 3 mythoclast, and a buttload of legendaries that meet the needs of every situation I can encounter including raids, nightfalls, and PVP. I still only have one gjallarhorn so I vault that and switch it using the app. Plus I don't have much of a choice, my vault and character inventories are near maxed so shuffling all of that stuff in the vault is a major pain.
-
Yeah I do this too..
-
If I didn't assign weapons I wouldn't use them all. So my hunter is currently AR, warlock Pulse, and Titan will be hand cannon. The scout is my back up for all depending on situation.
-
I don't have vault space to have 3 of every weapon (I have all exotics but thunderlord). I transfer all weapons across characters based on the task I am undertaking. Your not the only one.
-
i dO tHIS fROM tIME tO tIME
-
Out of 20 million or so players, yep, you're the only one.
-
I used to swap things all around but I have been working on load outs on each character so I don't need to. My titan holds all my maxed primaries and exotics because he was my main. My warlock has my second ghorn and icebreaker,my Hunter has two different snipers and dragons breath for the raid. My warlock and Hunter have non leveled raid primaries which still do great for nightfalls
-
I am the same! i dont keep two of the same exotic weapon, i keep one and delete the doubles and yes even Ghorn.. another ghorn? delete!
-
I personally don't like having doubles of any weapon (even exotics) and there is A LOT of weapons i know i wont use. So i switch my main weapons i know ill be using from character to character. Once i fully upgrade a gun i see no point in upgrading a double for another character (besides for the sake of not switching everytime... But it literally takes 2 minutes to switch them over through the app)
-
I did that for a while lie any said but now I have so many weapons I have character specific ones. In fact I have 10 primaries on all 3 characters with the only repeats being raid weapons or exotics (IB, Gally, TLord)
-
I did this for quite some time (when i had 3 titans). Now with 2 32s and a 31 (cant get a chestpiece or boots for my hunter), i just swap my ghorn...
-
No, I'm a creature of habit and upgrade what I feel is the best and dismantle the rest. Are perks worth the time and effort of figuring them out to that extent?
-
All of my characters have their own weapons, I do have to switch things over like my gally and such though
-
I switch a few out some main go to wpns
-
I am on the same page but with a 32 Titan, 32 Hunter, and 29 Warlock.
-
none of my characters have a set load out. I have raid specific load outs but they are used by each character
-
You are not alone.
-
Every character has an ice breaker and a default set of jump in and go weapons, and select weapons with great perks to be swapped and then the rest of the vault has specific use only weapons
-
Certain weapons get swapped, especially for leveling purposes, but I prefer to have sets of weapons for each handy in their person. I've accumulatec enough legendary pieces that I can have the basics covered. Could use s third ice breaker, I'd like each character to have their own copy of the most useful/versatile gun in the game
