Warlock Sword Bearer Help
Hey guys
I'm going to run sword tonight on Crota hard for the first time and am looking for tips. Never done it before. I'm a 32 warlock. I'll most likely be wearing full raid gear unless you have any other tips as far as gear. Probably going to run Sunsinger as well. I saw a video once of a sunsinger getting hit by Crota while radiant and with flame shield and did not die. Does anyone remember that link?
Any tips or thoughts would be great!

2 RepliesYeah those who do the heavy ammo glitch will cause crota to do unpredictable things. like jump up and kill the sword guy, or come into the crystal room. so don't let anyone do that. good luck.

1 ReplyI ran it with my lv 31 lock cause my man was looking for a change and I said what the hell. I've soloed it with hunter and titan so it wasn't a problem. Don't over jump with the lock. It's easy to get ahead of yourself and over jump jumping up to crota that by the time you land you will need to turn around and go back and wait. Trust your team to down him as soon as the first rocket hits just single jump up to the platform and whack his ball sack. And bam you will be a lock sward virgin no more.

3 RepliesCE raid boots, max agility, anything that amps up melee attack speed, and use those solar grenades for cover. Sword bearers touch on the raid boots helps a ton.

7 RepliesMax your sunsingers agility, use right rock strategy and make sure you get a titan or someone to distract boomers. When you're on the rock and ready, call out to your team to fire rockets and jump up on the platform before crota kneels. If it is your first time swordbearing at all, just get 6 hits on crota each sword, (3 every time you go up). Once you're comfortable and better with the sword, you can try getting in 7 hits. Also use apotheosis veil and red death to regenerate health when you need it. Flame shield comes in handy. Good luck!

3 RepliesRun with a bubble Titan make your life easy. I do it on all 3 characters 2 of which I have a Titan pop their bubble where crota stops when he swings right or left and boom. Safe.
