Our vaults aren't full for a reason.
Does bungie realize that their statistics are irrelevant? Those statistics about not everyone having a full vault may be true, but we keep open spaces in our vault to have room to switch out our weapons and armor. Do they think we can keep our vaults full and still be able to switch items? It doesn't work like that.
I am taking this news as an insult to all of us loyal Destiny fans.
Is this a joke DeeJ? I truly hope so. If not, I would like to see the statistics about how many players have quit this game after the new patch. I can't imagine it will look good for you, Bungie.

They've designed this game (like the socialist thinkers they are) to pander to the minority/QQ'ers from the get go, and now they dare try to point out a statistic that the minority of the player base has barely enough room in their vaults????!!!! Wow Bungie, suck a 8====D Some simple math a year ago would have prevented this issue, just make the change and stfu.

4 RepliesI just got rid of weapons I was holding on to make more space. That's why mine isn't full. Sadly, we all know this. When did Bungie start this corporate bullshit "by the numbers only" approach? I miss the days when the people leading Bungie seemed to be gamers and "got it." Also, to hell with putting everyday sayings in quotations like some mentally hampered MBA, corporate shlong-sucking, douche noodle who's giving a PowerPoint presentation to the senior Vice President of the Screw You Over Division. Go play with your dongle Mr. MBA-grade dumbass.

3 RepliesI posted this in another area but I'm reposting it for this thread too: This is the first time I'm posting or felt the need to post and I've been in game since beta. I have to agree. I've been deleting shaders, emblems and ships that I want to keep, because I don't have the space. I was hoping they'd at least split up general and have different sections for shaders, emblems, and ships. I've only been saving armour for my main, because I don't have the space for my alts armour. If you look at my vault now, it has space but if I tossed in armour from my other characters I wouldn't have the space to do so. Instead, I've been deleting things I don't want to. I've been storing stuff on my characters so I have to manage loot in the middle of shooting things because I often have 1 slot left for a given item. The amount of additional weapon slots are in the right direction but 4 for armour and 4 for general isn't even laughable. It's an insult. Especially with how they came up with how to distribute the slots. It's been a problem for so long that people are compensating for the insufficiency thus compromising the data they used to reach this conclusion. A better solution for their item display limit is to make use of the 3 vault "towers" in the Tower. Have 1 for weapons, 1 for armour, and 1 for general. Each with 84 slots (24+36+24) per the update preview. Heck, even the current limit of 60 per vault tower would be good. That way we all get a usable amount of space, for everything, and thier viewable limit is taken into consideration.

My vault is full... Exotic and legendary armor engrams fill my armor space. I have 1 open spot for weapons and my items space is full of bullshyt I can't get rid of because I keep getting more.

1 ReplyYeah I have to keep a bunch on my characters too. Which is really annoying because it means I can't hold much loot found. Rare and up will be mailed to me sure. But those greens won't. And I want every little bit of glimmer/mats :) Stats skewed

It doesn't support direct character item transfer so I need to have the vault be a middleman and that requires a slot or two. I even created two additional character's to increase storage of weapons and items. Honestly I don't think the additions will be enough. I was hoping for a larger increase than 4/16/4, I think the the default should have been straight forty across the board to start and then increase (or decrease) it based on observed data. I don't do Raid's and my vault has been full since December.

5 RepliesBungie loves to use misrepresented stats. They've done it since release. Let's say 3mil still play, 20% are having vault issues, that 600,000 vault issues. That's not nothing, that's 600,000 voices which can be some pretty nasty word of mouth if ignored.

1 ReplyAnother thought about armor slots. It doesn't hurt to have multiple armors. Most of the time, the stat rolls are different. I like to keep multiple armors with different stat rolls, such as when I would like to be able to get my super charged faster, or if I feel I need a higher strength stat for a particular mission or checkpoint. I shouldn't have to worry about whether or not to dismantle a new raid piece I just earned because I simply don't have the space for it.

That's plenty of weapon space and your gear should be on your characters unless you are a collector which will more than likely be frustrating. The 4 extra slots for inventory is where I felt they didn't add enough but we will see. I bought a lot of heavy ammo synth and because it stacks in 20's they take up a lot of vault space and make it difficult to transfer shaders ect. I've also been keeping duplicate shaders at the chance that they ever implement shader use on weapons and sparrows. The game constantly evolves so you never know.
