Meridian King

Cayde-6 "Guardians, We have an opportunity we cannot let slip through our hands. The Vex have started a large scale assault on the mars in the Black out section of Freehold. They are targeting the Cabal stronghold. We have intel that leads us to believe the Cabal Commander in charge of the Meridian bay front is held in an underground stronghold. Scouts report a new sinkhole has opened and according to scans it leads to a what we believe to be the stronghold. We need you to go in out, and take out the Meridian Commander. It will be an all out war in the city, so eyes up guardians." The Raid of Mars :Meridian King Below is the events and sections of a Mars raid designed by myself. There are three major areas. First Area, The Blackout Guardians spawn in a small canyon just outside of Freehold city. This section has been lost to the cabal. It has become a brutal war zone between cabal and Vex. Guardians walk through several blocks of the city. Along the way you fight off small amounts of Vex and Cabal. Once through a few blocks you reach a courtyard. At one end of the courtyard is a tower that has a bridge across a gap. You must reach the other side. This courtyard has cabal and Vex in the middle of a fire fight. Guardians must thin out the battle zone. Once thinned a collossus comes out from doors in the tower. Guardians must take down the the major collosus and his reinforcements. Guardians must then fight their way to the top of the tower and onto the bridge. First Check point. Now guardians must fight down into another courtyard. This courtyard is much longer and wider. There is a large planter running through the center. Trenches and metal wire spikes run through the whole courtyard. Cabal and Vex are in a massive battle through out the area. The areas above the trenches is covered in bouncing betty landmines. Guardians will have a split second to slide underneath. Guardians must fight their way through the courtyard to the other side where there is a gap between two buildings. This gap leads to another small courtyard. In one of the buildings is a massive sink hole. Second Area: The long way there Guardians must work there way through a deep and long cave system much like the vault cave systems. Cave includes drop offs, stone bridges, waterfalls, a river, and endless pits. Check point (No rewards) Third Area: The Iron Cave Guardians walk through a hole in a cabal structure. They are lead into a cabal city. The whole city is underground. A massive cavern contains the city. Three large stone columns support the cavern. The city rests on the floor of the cave. Between the three pillars are great iron walls. In the middle is a large iron tower with more walls surrounding it. Guardians must fight their way through the city, coming along side the great walls. They must reach a tunnel on the other side that leads above the city. The tunnel take guardians to the top of one of the pillars. Here guardians must jump down into the fortress. Check point. Guardians fight there way to the throne room in the stronghold. Once they are there guardians face the Commander of the Meridian bay assault. Last battle soon to be added.
