Why do people lie on the help forum so much?

I need #help understanding why every other post is "I lost my Ghally" even though every post gets the same answer. Yes, Bungie, the community, and any hobo curious enough to check can tell if you ever unlocked a weapon. No, Bungie will not help you or anyone else even if you are telling the truth. It is precisely because of liars that Bungie can't afford to donate "lost" weapons. Bungie and the community knows that weapons do disappear, it happens. That's the difficulty of storing all the game data online instead of on the hard-drive. Even if you do lose something, it isn't worth wasting your time posting it. You'll get the same answer every day of the week. "Sorry, Bungie does not replace lost weapons".

 • lol - that's funny but should put up the [/sarcasm] tag. But it is lame that bungie have not done what other developers have ... would stop all the complaints in an instant. And given bungie record every item the web page could just check the history. I guess bungie prefer a fight. It does look lame from the outside though, especially now that they have finally admitted that the App/Website has lost gear. Makes their constant refusal like they don't give a damn.
