Worst pvp experience ever..?
Making a list of destiny's pvp flaws/ridiculousness. Feel free to add your own.
THE LAG! Never have I seen a pvp game with this poor of a connection. Why bungie doesn't have dedicated servers for such a massive game I'll never figure out.
Rewards system. Tired of seeing people get exotics for being carried/sucking and the people doing the carrying getting screwed.
Same tiny ass maps in rotation over and over. Mostly iron banner but seriously why are almost all the maps so small?
Shotguns/fusion rifles/blink. Not saying i don't use shotguns but if you can't beat em, join em.
The amount of kill trades. Why can't you just pick one of us to die? So sick of killing someone just to drop dead after because they managed to pull the trigger after they were apparently dead.
melee post mortems (shouldn't be able to punch people to death if your already dead..)
Panic supers/ supers in general. Statistically more than 50% of my deaths have been from a super which is ridiculous. We need a super free game mode.
Quality of random teammates/matchmaking. Why the hell do you insist on sticking levels 32s with lvl 5s? ?? In no way is this fair in terms of experience or abilities.
Also stop matching me against a team when I'm with a bunch of randoms or vice versa.

I completely agree!!! Iron banner sucks monkey balls. I don't do teams I play solo. I have maxed everything. Yet I can't seem to win like I do in regular crucible. For 10 games straight. I just realized I was being connected to a bunch of 31s and faced against teams that joined together. It sucks cause I wanted Timur's lash. Also these losses weren't in the same day. Over a span of 3 days. Never got a win.... Which makes that save up to 5 losses pointless. I bet there are people with more than 5 just like myself. #iron #banner #sucks

1 ReplyHere's the thing with lag... You need to demonstrably prove that it's Destiny and/or XBox Live's problem and not your personal internet connection. (The majority of the time it's the latter.) If you're playing from your dorm room while the kid down the hall is illegally ripping hundreds of movies from a guy's server in Finland, then yeah, you're hosed. If you can't prove it, don't gripe about it. As for the maps: A map too big falls into "sniping and rockets only". A map too small is really just shotguns and melees and who-has-the-most-health. The maps they've designed so far have a good mixture of close proximity and long chambers so that any playing style and weapon set has viability. For you to be incapable of finding a style speaks to your skill level, not their game design. Note, by the way, that so many crucible kills were NOT with shotguns / fusion rifles / blink but with AR and hand cannons that they had to nerf those whole classes of weapons to try to level the playing field, so clearly you haven't done your homework. And if you want a super-free game mode, why did you buy the game? Go play Call of Duty. Come on, man.

1 ReplyTrying to play with Abyss Defiant after the AR nerf. Having a guy on enemy team eat my bullets and use nothing but the sprint/slide/shotgun combo the whole game.
