Does anybody like the leaked Titan exotics for House of Wolves?

I've seen the leaked Titan exotics for HoW and I am not impressed at all. I don't understand how the new boots are useful at all. They are useless in PVP and probably not useful in PVE. The helmet is good, but it is a typical Titan exotic that does something within our skill tree. The gauntlets might be okay, but I doubt they deal a lot of damage. Do you like the exotics? If so, why?

  • I'm hoping that the gauntlets do as much damage as a melee in PvP (close to storm fist). If so, it would actually be worth an exotic slot. This would mitigate the Warlock shield upon a single melee.

    • Helmet - Sure, why not? Like Helm of Inmost Light, it's providing a perk, from the Striker tree, which will allow me to select another perk, such as Shoulder Charge or Juggernaut. A free perk that allows the use of two from the same tier. That's decent. Were you expecting something not found in the tree? Did you know The Glasshouse exotic perk was originally going to provide the "Illuminated" perk (found pre-dlc via data mining) instead of it's lack-luster extra 5 seconds? Honestly, exotics that provide a free perk, from any tier in your tree allows for a bit more customization. Gauntlets - It's a new Defender exotic. Enough said. Although Ruin Wings is going to be hard to replace, until we know more about the new gauntlets damage output, it's hard to say how useful they'll be, however. My speculation is it will be similar to the Striker pulse grenade, dealing 500 damage, which isn't enough to kill anyone on the first pulse. If that's the case, they'll be nice in those situations where you go to melee an enemy and they don't die from the first hit. They hit you, they should be at low enough health (non-major/ultra enemies) to die from the AoE field. Boots - I don't PVP, but when I do, I don't use Shoulder Charge. The blur from the aura tends to disrupt my vision too much, constantly causing me to miss my target or turn into a wall. With that said, extra damage while in the air? It's already a OHK ability, not sure how much more damage you need past that. Not to mention, how often are we actually trying to do this mid-air, let alone are there many opportunities to do this? Maybe in a PVE stand point, but even then, rarely. Just my .02
