Most players who play the hunter class can agree that the Young Ahamkaras Spine is one of, or the coolest, looking exotics for the hunter. When equipped though you are in for a slightly disappointing piece of gear. The extended duration for the tripmine grenade just doesn't do this exotic justice.
I suggest that this exotic get it's main perk changed. Instead of the present extended duration for the mine why doesn't Bungie change the perk to two tripmines with the slightly if any duration increase. the thirty second timer on the current perk would not transfer very well over since having two tripmines sitting around on the map for thirty seconds would be increadibly over powered. Also if this was multiplied by six players with this exotic it would break the crucible. Again I suggest two mines. This would increase their effectiveness in both PVE and PVP.
Give it a like or a bump if you agree and feel free to give your own suggestions. I love to hear more from everyone about how they would like to see the game change for the better.

what about a perk that provides (insert ability here) like the titan exotics? for example the helm of inmost light: provides death from above and headstrong. hunters could get: provides scavenger and deadeye. ( Scavenger: Picking up ammo reduces the cooldown of your grenade and Throwing Knife. Deadeye: Significantly increases the accuracy of Golden Gun. )

Think it's too drastic of a change. I could see them adding a double grenade perk exotic in the future though.

I actually don't mind the perk of Young Ahamkara. It's fun to play around with in the crucible. Arachnid on the other hand .... Man does that thing need a buff. Worst exotic armor in the game IMO. Zoom for GG is so incredibly situational that you should never use it over Symbiote unless you are playing a massive map like Bastion. Even then it's arguable that 4 shots > zoom.

I really don't mind the perk. It allows you t put a trephine down in a door or hallway, go walk around try to get some kills, and then randomly have the trephine later kill someone. Although these gauntlets are completely useless in pve.

It should also reload ALL primary weapons faster. That would be really cool.

This would be a good change, but you can basically do that already if your discipline is maxed or fairly high and then run the scavenger perk. Your tripmines (and throwing knives) come back almost instantly with how much special ammo is laying around the maps. I can block off 2 doorways/ hallways and have the 30 seconds. Although, I would still rather have 2 tripmines than them lasting longer. Good idea

I always thought that it should give a subclass ability like incendiary blade or an extra throwing knife.

I think giving two trip mine grenades would be a lot better than the extended duration. Being able to trip mine two separate spots would be a boon to sniper builds

Ehhhh I'd rather it benefit the knives since no exotic has yet. But since it already benefits the tripmines it'll have to stay that way wouldn't it?
