3rd Subclass ideas

Hello, i would like to gather the communities on their ideas of what the third sub-class for each class should be. Note: The third sub-class should revolve around the third elemental damage that that class already does not have. Most perks and powers should be somehow related to enemy abilities as most powers in game are already some sort of version of other in game powers. Hunter: i feel that the hunters two powers surrently bladedancer and gunslinger, fit the hunter perfectly, for the third sub-class i feel the hunter should have some sort of assassin class; now i know that the blade dancer is somewhat like this class was split down the middle of being an assassin and being a medic. i think the third sublclass should be somesort of dark assassin that uses the power of void to warp to different locations and deal large burst damage. the melee would be somesort of life steal power, similar to the warlocks perk but it would always heal the player not just when they killed the enemy. Warlock: For the warlock i feal that bungie has created a very strong mage nuke and a confusing support mage. Face it everyone sunsinger just doesnt make sense outside of hard raids and nightfalls, it has an amazing power to be a support that lowers your teammates ability CD's or be a tank that isnt super tanky. if you dont use revive on your sunsinger then you simply become target number one, now if you'r thinking well isnt that good for being a tank, well you are right but you arent really helping your team as much as you could be if you were lowering their CD's. This is were i get the idea of the warlocks third sublclass. The warlock would become empowered by arc and throw down your guns and be able to shoot a steady stream of arc bolts at enemies, similar to how wizards shoot. The melee would be a blinding attack that simply blind enemies. this combination would allow a warlock to be able suppres enemy players and safeguard their fellow guardians from enemy fire. Titan: Seeing as the titan being a very important class to have on you team it is very obvious that the defender can make greater game changing plays. The defender is most likely the greates class to give you team orbs, in pvp and pve simply because of the fact that a character is essentially carrying around a orb dropping bubble that they can place anywhere, and thats not assuming they have the couple other orb genorating perks on. Seeing that the solor powers for both warlock and hunter are buffing powers i thought it would be apropriote to give the titan one as well. Seeing that the titan has very close range abilities i wanted to stick with that so i think that the titan should be able to bath in the suns energy and regen health and run at an increadible speed. This would be based off the hive knight and ogre enrage abilitiy. the melee would be an attack that doesnt do massive damage but slows the opponent down and speeds up the titan. please leave your ideas and i would apreciate any suggestions that you may have. I think it would be amazing for bungie to really ask the community whatthey want for the new sublcasses.

  • Here are some of my thoughts... Considering that the Titan is the game's toughest class, I think that a Solar "Berserker" type of subclass (That I call an Incinerator) would be awesome. Imagine having a Titan barreling towards you in the Crucible as you are trying to reload then the maniac explodes with Solar Light and is suddenly wielding a fiery axe! While wielding the axe, the Incinerator could choose to move faster, be tougher with additional shields, or cause damage to enemies by merely being in their presence! The Warlock's buffing and blasting nature leaves a gap: Debuffing! Think of it this way... You are being chased by the horde of Thralls and sword wielding Knights in Crota's End when the only Warlock (running as a Maelstrom) jumps into view, throws down a Magnetic Storm, and slows down everyone in the radius while laying down automatic death from a Machine Gun! The Maelstrom could later throw the speed drain with a minor damage DoT, a slightly higher speed drain, or Increase the blast radius. The Hunter? Well... The shooting is taken care of with Gunslinger and the walking murder scene is done through the Bladedancer. Where's a subclass that can cause some chaos through deception. Jesters would be brutal as they take on the appearance of their enemy and automatically Teleport away if they take damage, swap places with a random hostile in a predefined radius, or appear as dead until the Super runs out. Those are just some ideas.

  • Not very many ideas that already haven't been done for the Hunter or Warlock, but for the Titan, a melee Subclass would amazing given that Bungie's sword mechanics are on point! The Titan would pull out a Solar Hammer and be able to use like the Sword and it's abilities would be: Incinerate - Enemies killed by Solar Hammer get thrown back and explode, leaving a solar grenade on the ground. Sunfall - Jumping and hitting R2, (Or Right Trigger for Xbone Peasants), makes the Titan slam the Hammer into the ground sending shockwaves of Solar Energy out from around the Hammer and leaves the ground scorched, damaging any enemies that wander over it. Flamedance - Swinging the sword with R2, (Or Right Trigger again for Xbone Peasants...), sends flames towards where you're aiming.

    • Hunter needs a support/void Titan needs a DPS Warlock needs a CQC I've actually designed three subclasses which are pretty interesting... maybe I'll post them again soon. Basically, Hunter has a really unique grenade that delays shield regeneration and causes some oracle-blinding effects, and a super that reduces ALL cooldowns for allies in a 20 meter radius, allowing for players to team up with their supers, overwhelming the opposition at once (15% cooldown to supers, 90% to strength and discipline, I think it was). Titan has some very unique grenades and a melee super that also speeds the user up. The user is able to use weapons as normal during this super, and has a powered up melee. Warlock has lots of invisibility powers, and "Arc Quake", which is similar to a centralized Fist of Havoc with unique properties and less vertical reach. Also has a unique jump modifier that allows you to deal small explosive damage when you double jump off of the ground. I'll try to post this later...
