You do not own map locations
If you go on a patrol and you find somebody camping an area, do not proceed to melee them and try to run them off. They could be trying to complete a few bounties and they were there before you. Try sharing the location. I have no problems sharing.
Or, go back to orbit and then travel back to the location. Amazingly, the other person will not be there.
I report it every time it happens.

Instead of effing around with the guy, I went to orbit and then went back to patrol. I land again and scout the area to find I have it all to myself. I'm there for 5 minutes and another player lands and starts doing the same thing.
WTF?!

just share it, if both of you get kills or whatever it counts towards the bounty.

1 ReplyHere's a dirty trick. Invite them to fireteam If they except, kick them from fireteam. It will send them to orbit.

Yeah...i go to that room on venus to do some bounties...but never bother anyone already there. But if im there and someone trys to take the spot......well good luck. I will sit there till they leave. And no you cant always share it.......i make no progress with my bounty if the other guy starts supering everything.

I don't have a problem with people using areas for farming bounties. What I do have a problem with is when either they are doing it in a way that cuts off half the other spawns in the area (standing on the railing at the entrance to winter lair for example) or they run in to "join" you and in the process negate your ability to continue proceeding with what you are doing. For instance I was using the room on the shattered coast where you jump up on the top of the door to respawn the enemies to do the kill 3+ enemies with a super 20 times bounty. This guy sits on the hill a ways back and starts firing rockets into the room by the time I drop back down. So I went and took a seat in the room and played on my phone till he left. Cave farming is over people. It was stupid t begin with. How anyone could find that a fun way to play the game is beyond me.

I help if it's a little one or just move along to another spot. I know I would get grrr if I'm trying to complete a bounty and someone comes and screws me over.

1 ReplyIf somebody melee me because im grinding/farming i will -blam!-ing own that area. I dont give a crap if im doing bounties or not. I hear a lot of people itching about not having glimmer i dont need to bitch because i farm it. Im not a total dick if im not doing the iris sword bounty by all means take it ill even deliver it to you but the moment you melee me ill take the sword and dance with it. I might even jump off the cliff with it.....lol other than that its just dandy.

Invite to fireteam and then boot? I've never gotten lucky enough for them to join but, it's worth a try.
