Would it be more fair to both sides if Xur sold exotic engrams only?
Imagine this. Each week Xur arrives with nothing but engrams instead of the normal pre-selected exotics as has been seen in Destiny.
This would mean that everyone's exotics would be random, but bought from Xur at the same time.
Basically the set up would be this. Each week he would have Helm, Chest, Glove, and Boot Engrams (hopefully Warlocks get boots as well in HoW). Then every week he alternates between primary, special, and heavy exotic engrams. Making it so each cost 21 coins (the max anyone can make with 3 characters without creating more) would also be fair because it would give yet another chance for people to get exotics.
This would also help get rid of the mass enflux of coins (as it is myself I have over 200 and I know some people have much higher than this).
So what do you people say? Wouldn't this be fair to both sides?

1 ReplyDoesn't matter.. the "earner" group would still find something to b!tch about. I can hear it now.. "You Xurned your engram, I EARNED mine!!! You Xurners are christmas noob casual common scrubs!!!" And the rest of us would continue not to care, and spend our coins on things we want that RNGesus has not blessed us with yet. Am I right?

3 RepliesYou mean 27 coins - 9 per heroic × 3 And yes, I would rather he sold weapon engram's than weapons but from bungie point of view - this prolongs the grind and play time till next dlc cause you can't just horde coins waiting for those exotic heavy engram's with technically a 1/4 chance of getting a gjallarhorn or thunderlord
