Xür and The Exotic Weapons?
Just wondering,
Seeing as it has been a long time since anyone has received a Version 1.0 Exotic.
What value does Xür add by selling the weapon upgrade to bring them to 2.0?
I thought it might be a better idea (at least until HOUSE OF WOLVES releases) to temporarily assign those slots to gear also.
If Xür was selling 10 armor upgrades each week, more guardians would be able to spend their strange coins effectively rerolling their gear with less than desirable rolls.
I cannot see any downside to this, it still takes glimmer and Exotic Shards, and it would be unlikely that you would be able to upgrade everything during his short visit.
When HOW does drop then the slots can be reassigned back to weapons to get Version 3.0. Exotics.
What do you think?

2 RepliesWell you know he does all of them like a hood 4+ times but he never -blam!-in sells red death upgrade it was only once

2 RepliesIt's not like he only has x amount of slots available and having those upgrades available is taking away room that would otherwise be full of gear. If you want him to sell more exotics, which won't happen, just say so. The upgrade part is irrelevant.

2 RepliesWell there is still one of my exotics i haven't upgraded yet.. My Hawkmoon. And damn he hasn't sold that upgrade for a long time.. The one time he sold that upgrade, he also sold the gjallarhorn upgrade, so i upgraded that instead, and didn't have enough glimmer to upgrade both.. And stupid me thought "He probably will sell it soon again, i don't need to go and glimmer farm right now" -blam!-
