Back in the days of Halo, bungie was all over the custom game types and gving its users a chnace to create their own PvP experiences.
We all know that this is completely lacking in Destiny, but I think we should not be put off and we should be creating our own gametypes, regardless of having them official or not.
I have been playing my own game type recently in Rumble (OK and in all other PvP games modes but it only really works in rumble) and I would like to know if I can get more PvP players joining in with me( It gets lonely playing THUNDERDOME when no one knows exactly what I am doing).
Now the game basically comes down to everytime you get Anomoly, you need to head straight for the pit in the middle of the room.
As soon as you touch the floor there is only one real rule.
TWO MEN ENTER, ONE MAN LEAVES ( repeat chant add nauseum, add beer for proper madmax feel). oh and no grenades.
This can go on for quite some time and it really fun waiting for someone to die before jumping in the pit and taking it for yourself. MyCurrent record is 5 kills.
I just wish other people new what I was doing so that could have more challengers and I wouldn't have to hide so much while wating my 'turn'
So anyone up for making this a regular thing when Anomoly pops up?
Obviously it will only be forum peeps at 1st, but once people see what we are doing (and hear my drunken chanting) Im sure they will get the hint and join in!!
Whats y'all think?
TLDR :
New game : THUNDERDOME
Where : Rumble , Anomoly
Rules : One man enter one man leaves, no grenades.
