Errors
This is not my first time writing about error codes, so I'll be brief and simply say I've gotten 9 in the past three hours. At most I can do a couple patrol missions before I get kicked from the game world with one of the following codes: Fly, Weasel, Caterpillar, Anteater, Eel. Other than getting kicked out of two strikes yesterday, I haven't had any problems since the 1.1.1 patch. For those of you with any suggestions, bear in mind that I have a wired connection, I have followed the networking trouble shooting guide here on Bungie multiple times, have forwarded several ports recommended by Bungie here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11931, and the ports are forwarded correctly because I used the website that Bungie recommends here: http://portforward.com/help/destiny/. Of all the people I play Destiny with, none of them have ever had any connection issues with the game whatsoever. During Strikes and Raids, I'm the only one that ever gets kicked.

It seems since the 'server maintenance' that these errors have seen a big increase. Yet Bungie's response seems to be that it is our connection (despite some of us having methods of monitoring "our" connection). It's getting to the point of being game breaking.

1 ReplyThis is terrible, game keeps kicking me out. I'm spending more time on these forums learning why they can't make this game work. Weasel, Marion berry, doesn't matter, it sounds like "it's not us (bungie) , it's you... All of you." Pitiful is the only way to explain it. How do you even hold your heads up and claim this game bungie? Thank the game Gods they (bungie) have so many people (players) trying to figure out how to get back in the game, I just wish the people who made it (bungie) were working as hard as I am (player) to play it to fix it!

Keep getting kicked from missions, strikes, and basically everything!! It's starting to get very aggravating to where I'm beginning to dislike bungie.net period... yall fix one problem then others occur!! I didn't have any problems until 1.1.1 dropped

Honestly it seems dumb but some internet companies don't support gaming. I used to get kicked constantly. I switched services and now have 0 problems. Try asking your internet provider.

Same. I get caterpillar every damn day multiple times. I've followed every guide they sent me and even bought a new router/modem combo. I have no issues with connectivity on my computers or any other XBL game.

Same. It errors when I login and try to do patrol mission and strikes and raids. I haven't been able to play since the last update 1.1.1
