VOG OR CROTA (POLL) bump so devs can see
Let it be known which is the best and why. Keep bumping so developers know which is better and why.
Mine is vault of glass x1000000000000
Crota just lacked everything vault of glass gave!

But finishing VOG... i felt like we really had to accomplish something.the ups the downs, the temporary losses of patience and pointing out who's 'fault' it was for the wipe....then something happens; clicks....everybody comes together, without anyone saying anything, game face....puts that little bit extra effort in and says screw you, you're going down! Love it!

VoG It was a great experience. Quite 'mysterious' the first few runs. Preventing templar teleports, sneaking through the gorgon labyrinth, jumping over the chasm et. Cool stuff. And the 'extras' are great, too. Alternate pathways ftw. Crota is just lame IMO.

Vault was more of a mind game... crotas is more of a "we will just send a boat load of enemys at them" approach

Well for starters you used to be able to control which three teleported on Atheon by keeping the three to the rear. People did this to ensure a strong relic holder got teleported. Not long after Bungie patched and made it completely random. Next expansion we have Crota who is a walk in the park with a strong sword bearer. How does that make any sense? VOG was painful and once you hit 30 you felt accomplished. Crota's End hands people 32 without even having to ever beat Crota himself. Bunch of scrub 32's running rampant now.

1 ReplyBoth are unique with different theme based challenges. I do not want another copy of either in the future, but instead desire totally new challenges. The time theme for the VOG was great, and the darkness/lamp/death theme was great too for Crota's.

1 ReplyVOG is probably the best raid we will see out of Destiny. The Devs had years to design and build this raid. Everyone after it has and will be rushed. Activision is all about that money. It sucks but that's the truth.

VoG Hands down. Everything about it is better than CE. The only problem is the lock to the old light levels of the gear.

Vig because vog is an actual raid and crota is a glorified strike

1 Replythe difference is that VoG makes it fell more of a teamwork raid as you need your teammates and that, at least for me, makes it more enjoyable whereas in crota you can do it with 2 players or even 1 and the different parts make it feel more like chores

Vault of glass has unique game play at almost every level. CE only has it with the abyss and then it's just the same thing the whole way through. VOG also has a much bigger and more interesting environment to explore. CE doesn't allow for much exploration

VoG is just a pain, I can't be bothered. I prefer legit CE.

I like VoG more, because it demands better teamwork than crota...

I actually used to think VoG, but now that everyone does everything legit on Crota it is more fun

Vault of Glass requires a lot more teamwork which is why I love it. In Crota's end you can just be carried or solo it

Everyone talks shit, but some of my best Destiny moments have been in Crota. Like the first time your full Fireteam made it through Lanterns. We only proceeded if everyone was alive. That wild rush past Ogres, Knights and Thralls to get to the White Light.. It was great. And the first time you completed the Bridge legit? That was great. The entire Fireteam constantly shooting, helping each other out to stay alive. CE was more thrilling the first time than VoG was. However, that isn't to say VoG is bad. It has withstood the test of time and still sometimes gives me shivers when I play it.

I think they wanted something different, they succeeded. VoG is technically better, but CE had it's moments. I like them both.

VoG. Still a challenge whereas CE is just a glorified strike.

Vault requires alot of team work and I like that, crota you can solo the entire raid.....

With practice Crota is like a strike more than a raid. Hands down VOG for me. Much more like what a raid should be IMO.
