Shocked to see how many players dont understand how supers create a certain number/max number of orbs after so long of playing.... -All supers max out at 9. (8 without the "create more orbs" gear) -4 orbs for majors, unless you are a bladedancer (they are slightly different than the rest of the classes), you get 2., [b]BUNGIE, WHY NO BUFF FOR BLADEDANING ORB CREATION?!?!?![/b] -6 orbs from bosses/ultras (Phogoth, Devil walker, Tank mini boss, etc..) thanks for the reminder guys :) -Titan slam, golden gun, whatever, they can all spawn 9, Example: Radiance, will give you orbs during its activation, for ANY kills (gun, melee, grenades) and the max for that is 8. If you have the helm that generates more orbs, it can max at 9. So, if you kill two majors while radiance is active, it will say either: Generated 4 orbs generated 4 orbs OR generated 8 orbs (if killed at same time/close together) But, you will only be able to generate 1 more orb after that, as 9 is the max via a super. For [b]supers,[/b] [b]THAT'S IT.[/b] Then, you have [b]ABILITIES,[/b] those are from your skill tree, and can potentially spawn you orbs. (Titan has many of these abilities in his skill tree) Then, lastly, your [b]GEAR[/b]: That can spawn any number of orbs, with no max and s always active (so if it says "chance to spawn orb with grenade" you can ALWAYS have a chance to spawn an orb from that.....its a passive skill when its on armor. To everyone saying "Well I spawn 20 orbs with my sunsinger" No, you dont. You may have gear or abilities that is creating orbs while your super is active, and that's what is increasing the number of orbs..... Bungie made it possible for all classes, to spawn the same orbs. (unless Titan defender, he can spawn 2 orbs with Ward of Dawn, and another 3 when it takes damage with a perk, increase that by 1 with the "generate more orbs" gear) But he also has the most perks to generate orbs, aside from his super, than any other class. Use your skills and supers right, and you can feed each other orbs all game long..... /Rant over Bonus tip: At the end of the mission, the "orb counter" with your kills, is actually how many orbs you eat, not make. Edit 1-Debunked- Game mechanics are the same for PS and Xbox Edit: To everyone still saying they spawn 20 orbs, or 11 orbs with one super. Its IMPOSSIBLE, post of video of your Nova bomb making 12 orbs, or your sunsinger making 15....because some of you just dont get it, or just pure lie lol. Edit: wow, so about 50% of you understand.. The rest are filled with insults about why I am so stupid/wrong...I love it. Edit: Guys, stop with the PM's with all the insults lol, why does this make so many people angry???
