I think that some new events are needed. We have only had 1 PVE event, and Iron Banner comes often. I think a cool new event would be something called Lord Guardians. You could wear all your exotics, weapons and armor. You would only be able to enter the PVP games, or the PVE Games. Details follow. PVP- To get into the PVP Lord event, you need to do something special. I think you need to be at least Crucible Rank 8. This prevents casual PVP players from entering and only the more dedicated PVP players. After you hit Rank 8, when you level up, you have a 50% chance for an invite bounty. This would be something like an exotic bounty, but PVP exclusive. After you complete this, you can go into a special zone, maybe behind the door near the Speaker, where you can meet other Guardians in the PVP Zone. If you want to play, you can go to the "Lord Guardian Event" from the Crucible menu. Once gained access, all exotics can be equipped while you are in "Lord Guardians" and once you leave, the game notifies you to take off your exotics. During the say, month long event, standings are kept. Guardians can go to the Noble Area (door near Speaker) and check rankings. The Top 25 Players, judged by a K/D, would get a reward. Players would need at least 25 "Lord Games" completed and need at least 15 kills a game on average to be on the leader board. This prevents someone from going on a 5-kill streak and then camping in a corner. After the month, the Top 25 would be given a few things. 1. Exotic of Choice: Weapons, Armor, Sparrow, Ship, anything that there is in the game that is Exotic 2. A Cloak, Mark, or Bond that would be noticeable and make all other Guardians jealous. If the event repeats, it would be a different looking Class Item 3. Legendary of Choice (Including Raid Gear!) Considering there would be many Guardians competing, the reward needs to be large. 4. Lord Guardian: In front of your name, it would say "Lord" If I won (which I wouldn't), the game would say "Lord will322001" alerting other Guardians there is basically a master player in front of them. 5. 24 Radiant Shards, 24 Radiant Energy, 24 Ascendant Shards, and 24 Ascendant Energy Any other PVP suggestions would be great to hear. PVE To get into the PVE event, the requirements would be similar to PVP. 1. Vanguard Rank 8 2. 50% Chance for an Invite 3. "Lord" Bounty to get into the event, exclusive to PVE The PVE Area could be down by Dead Orbit. Follow the stairs down and sometimes Xur shows up there. Here, things would be similar to the PVP, but with one more thing to do. You could invite other Guardians to your team to tackle the Lord Guardian event. You could also look at a leader board, judging you by your K/D in PVE. You need at least 1,000 AI kills during the event (You could do Devil's Lair on Level 8 and that would count) to be on the board. The Guardians in the Top 25 PVE receive the same reward as the PVP Top 25. 1. Exotic of Choice 2. Cloak, Mark, or Bond, different from that of PVP 3. Legendary of Choice 4. "Lord" in front of Name 5. 24 Radiant Shards, 24 Radiant Energy, 24 Ascendant Shards, and 24 Ascendant Energy The PVE would be Raids and Strikes. All missions would have no burn, Light Switch, Juggler, Heroic, Angry, and Nightfall. All enemies match the average level of the 3 or 6 Guardians. 75% of enemies would have a shield of some kind and be resistant to all other elemental types other than their shield. (Ex. Captains would be resistant to Solar and Void, but vulnerable to Arc). You would get the same rewards that you normally would have a chance of on Hard Mode raids and the Nightfall. When you start match making, the strike or raid is randomly selected. Raids also have twice as much value as a strike. If you have a K/D of 5 in a strike, and a similar K/D in the raid, the game would record that as a 10 K/D because raids are much more difficult.
