Be prepared; on Tuesday March 10 we'll drop a new patch on you that will implement the following: - Auto Rifles are still far too damaging and accurate. We've doubled the damage drop off and range adjustments from what we did last time. Now the damage drop off will start twice as close to the player, and the weapon should be doing no damage at all by the time the rounds get to mid-range. We listened to you, Guardian! - Fusion Rifles are still used far too often in the Crucible, and we've heard you about wanting future nerfs! So we've widened the spread of the Fusion burst so that it has no range at all. Now it just fires off and looks like a brightly colored pinwheel fanning out in front of your character! - Shotguns still are not lethal enough at a one hit kill, so we've listened to you and increased their damage by 1000%! But we agree also that the range was far too long, so we've adjusted it so that it has a total range value of -10! Whenever you pull the trigger on a shotgun, you'll kill yourself. But since every shotgun round is now super-dense depleted Uranium, you'll not only also hit the guy behind you, but the guys behind you in the next three counties!
