destiny does not have dedicated servers for pvp or for pve. Thats why there are so many glitches in the game play....one of the members of the fireteam is made the host (which is great for him and those nearest to him) but complete crap for the people not near him. This is one of the reasons why the raids are glitchy, and why in pvp it sometimes takes a whole clip to kill a single guardian who manages to melee kill you, or seems to teleport around the map, or when you get a heavy ammo drop that you can't pick up... it all stems from the fact that they do not have dedicated servers for these activities...which is why i have been playing the game less and less. The list of things that annoy me about this game is starting to get longer than the things i like about it. These are significant issues with the core game...and in about 6 months of playing i have not seen any responses from bungie to any of the posters on this site regarding these types of issues...but hey if someone wants a weapon nerfed..they can do that in a week....
