Just started playing it. Played like 2 missions and already felt like I explored more areas than Destinys entire game. Feels a little like destiny. More complicated in terms of how to upgrade stuff, advanced melees, advanced movements. And it's free. Is it any good? Plenty of content?
Edit: After like 3 days of playing Warframe I can tell Warframe is better than destiny. Loot system is much better. More content. More variety in pve. Free. Custom mods. Custom appearances. Monthly updates. You can even move your ship during travel. Out of the $500million investment in destiny, bet they only put in $15 on the whole game. (Hyperbolic but still.)

Really worth it but it corrupted my PS4

i just started. want an ash. help plox

As a beta player (and founder) on PC I just recently started on the console version. Holy crap this game has come a long way. The learning curve is a bit rough at first but if you can find/know a friend who can walk you through it it's totally worth your time. Bit of a grind like destiny mind you, but you'll see more rewards for your efforts.
-
It's minute to minute gameplay is fun, but it swamps you with micro-transactions.
-
Amazing game, much more content than destiny but it's dominated by micro transactions....
-
It's a good game to play with friends. The main issue though is that it's 999999x grindier than Destiny
-
Other than Warframe having vastly more content, direct interaction between player and developer, being an absurdly grindy game, being made with less money and people and being just a little bugged, Warframe is one of the best loot based shooter games available. Destiny feels like discount Warframe to me...
-
It sucks. And it's pay-to-win.
-
If your into repetitiveness yes

Just earned Nekros a couple of weeks ago. He looks killer and his powers are fun. I love the shadow army ability... And desecrate. Let's not forget desecrate! Been running Valkyr for a while. Love that frame too. The play style differences between frames is a lot of fun to experiment with.

Worst game I've ever played
-
Played the first level, didn't feel as smooth as destiny.
-
Warframe is great destiny could learn a lot from those guys on how to improve their game, its also one of the most fair free to play games, I find it fairly easy to get gear without feeling like I need to pay money. Only place you have to spend money for is getting more vault space otherwise you have to scrap old weapons and frames.

Great game, the trade system is amazing too
-
FUN AS HELL. I'm not saying go and drop $80 or $60 on stuff in it until u play atleast 30 hours. But once u get in it there will be the want to put money into it. And for everyone who hates on putting money into free games just think of it like paying for the game after a complete beta.

It's extremely repetitive and grindy, yet it can be addictive, there is a lot of missions but they're all the same in a reskinned environnement, many Warframes largely outperform others rendering them useless. It's extremely time consumming if you want something good in game. The only thing that is better than Destiny in my opinion is the fact that gear can be obtained in a defined way instead of randomly dropping frim time to time.
-
I started playing a couple of weeks ago. It's very good for officially still being in beta and also f2p. It's not pay to win, it's pay to ease grind/cosmetics, has a cool modding system, space combat (that needs some work, admittedly), but might take some time to wrap your head around. It's also verrrrrrry fast.

Very good game

Edited by MajorLeageMiner: 3/3/2015 5:21:32 PMIt is VERY good, although its kinda weird the way it's difficulty works, EVERYTHING has the ability to kill things in am instant if modded correctly, but they NEED to be insanely powerful because if they're not, you get killed just as fast and/or get swamped with enemies. (At least, from my experiences) End game can get very repetitive,-but unlike say, Destiny, late game is FUN. You don't really mind doing the same stuff over and over. ALSO THERE IS NO PAYWALL. It's merely an object you have to jump over, but if you use platinum (money currency) you can just push it to the side, and you can TRADE f for plat, I've bought a few things with plat, (excluding starter plat) and haven't spent a penny on this game!

It will consume your life.
-
Edited by Krash Nebula: 3/3/2015 11:25:41 AMIts an over complicated version of Destiny you will only have fun if you can play it 18 hours a day every day of the week. It's a fun game when you have stuff but it's too long to get the stuff when yiu get further in the game unless you pay real money for it
-
Edited by Morarn: 3/3/2015 11:22:40 AMI'm not having fun with it, honestly. Its just... Wonky and all those holograms on the screen is pissing me off.
-
Its fun, but its a grind, and its pretty time consuming when it comes to gathering materials and making use of blue prints. Its a free to play game so thats what you get, but overall the game is fun.

Awesome game. Nothing like Destiny.
