PS4/XBOX1 - LAG Thread - issues since last patch update 1.1.1
Please add to this thread if you've been experiencing Lag issues since the last update (1.1.1) in either pvp or pve.
No need to throw abuse at Bungie - Keep it simple and to the point -->
Issue (lag, error code, audio problems) + pvp or pve (or both). State your console.
Let them know how many of us are experiencing problems and importantly gaming downtime.
Make sure you rule out internet problems on your end. If you're confident it's not you go ahead and post below.

1 ReplyA noticeable difference in lag since the update patch. I play PvE, which rarely lagged before, but now it's common. Also, audio problems, sign in issues (especially this morning). I'm using the same Internet connection as always, which has never given problems before on this or any other game. Very little lag pre-patch. PS4 user. I've reset everything, restarted everything, but lag still persists. It's becoming a real problem.

I'd get kicked now and then before but now is is horrible. Trying to beat crota when one person says he is in the middle and he is on the left or right on others screens is bad. I have ports open, gaming router with very fast connection. I should not be getting lag like this.

I've been lagging pretty bad since the update, including getting booted several times from both PvP and PvE (3 times during my first ever raid, which was extremely frustrating). My internet connection is amazing (speed tests show 120mbps down/11mbps up), with my PS4 logging speeds of 54mbps down/5mbps up. Only Destiny has been giving me connection issues.

Same here.. since 1.1.1 the game is almost unplayable for me.

Finally got the update to install tonight, only now none of my text shows up. It all question marks. Xbox one, of corse.

Edited by Void: 3/5/2015 12:13:43 AMPs3- Well, it was the update before 1.1.1 mainly in pvp and raid (mostly in raids and I usually get a disconnect after every 2 wipes), apparently that there is a lot of packet loss between my connection and the bungie servers which is odd since I [i]rarely[/i] get packet loss for gaming and the destiny servers from the very beginning and get error code [b]baboon[/b] (even though I have a higher upload/download then the people than I am with in my fireteam). The only way that I solved it was by using a wired connection (ethernet), since my ps3 is directly connected to my router, that means little to no packet loss in between me and the bungie server. (Although my wifi didn't have much packet loss from September to the beginning of February with the bungie servers :/)

3 RepliesId say its your home connection. Main reason being i pay for top of the line internet and befoe latch was always lagging because my connection carried everyone else now my game doesnt even so much as stutter. Funny how stability fixes work..

1.1.1 wrecked my connection and all 20 members of my clan have confirmed they too are having connection issues. pvp is unplayable unless you like shooting a guy 5 times point blank with a shotgun dealing no damage and then dying due to lag. Pve is hardly playable enemies regaining health, not spawning, and even today we killed the templar in one shot from a red death and 4 out of 5 members got the vex lmao going to be posting videos to my youtube (Grim Gaming Tv) toninght hopefully bungie fixes this shit soon and stops with the game breaking updates. p.s pulse rifles are op now nice fix bungie

yes my connection is wrecked after patch 1.1.1 bungie needs to fix this asap and they have yet to even say anything about it????? I never had connection issues until 1.1.1 now i dont deal damage in the crucible and pve is just wrecked minitors gaining health back or even coming back from death. WE did vog today and it lagged out so bad we killed Templar with one shoot from a red death. I will be uploading videos to youtube tonight. Grim Gaming Tv

4 RepliesSince the new update i was kicked from game numerous times. Experienced loading issues while in the game where screen would freeze and say loading. Audio would cut out for a few seconds here and there. And now I can't even sign on. Marionberry error. So I follow Bungie's advice and reset everything. Then I try DNS fix that I found on another thread. Only to get a banjo error now. Not impressed!

I have been experiencing lag in both pvp and pve.I can't hear other guardians in fire teams due to nat type issues in party chat and game. Now only recently I can't even log on!

Marionberry almost instantly after pressing "A" to play. I've turned off my console and reset all my networking gear as well as checked with XB for my connection. Everything is good on my end. I'm in NJ by the way if that helps. Also, it's a hardwire connection, not WiFi.

Getting a marionberry error code for over an hour, but destiny is the only game I can't connect to servers on, COD still works fine.

Xbox one, my game freezes in every game mode, I don't freeze in the tower just pve and pvp. No error code game just freezes and then when I hit the dashboard button my Xbox restarts. Didn't have the issue until the update. Internet connection is fine and all other Xbox live games work fine. Destiny is the only one freezing up. Please help

Its happen again. after the update from 25.02 i get every 5 min error code cannary/marionberry. every time when bungie do connection works many player cant play the game. and what say bungie? restart your xbox,playstation or your router. this is not problem of my ps3 or xbox or router. this all come from your server. do some or pay me my money back for this game

Multiple error codes, bee, fly, rabbit on PS3 all in PVE but that's because that what I've spent an overwhelming majority of the time playing Tried troubleshooting steps but no go

Multiple error codes on the PS3. Mainly Baboon but also getting weasel, bee, fly and buffalo. Use to only experience an error code maybe once every week or so before the last update, now I'm lucky to just finish a strike
