I frequently join random groups of people to do raids and I really enjoy it, you meet some cool people and get the good loot ;) But this morning I had the worst raiding experience so far... Myself and one of my friends had just completed atheon and got thunderlord and hawkmoon, so obviously we wanted to run it again, so we searched on the groups for some randoms to join us. This guy advertises ATHEON CHECKPOINT ON HARD, need 2 more So we join. Turns out he was at the gatekeeper checkpoint, no problem, we'll just blitz trough that and kill Atheon. But this guy...oh my god this guy... After telling us that he knew so much about destiny and how good he was it turned out that this was the most difficult gatekeeper checkpoint ever, everyone dying except for me and my friend. We finally finish that checkpoint and get to atheon. Now this guy insists he knows exactly what he is doing and keeps picking up the relic...when I say he needs to cleanse, he asks me 'how' Are you serious? I said in 4 separate occasions 'does everyone know what they are doing? It's fine if you don't, just say now so we can explain the plan' I just got silence back Please, for the love of god, if you don't know what you are doing JUST SAY!!!! Edit: Okay, so it seems like there are a lot of people who have had bad raiding experiences, but here is the thing...they don't have to be! If you want someone to help you out with raiding and you play on ps4, I'll be happy to teach you and run through with you at some point, no problem :) my psn name is the same as my username on this forum.
