Here's a suggestion for Bungie. If someone quits a Strike, make them have a 5 min cool down before they can go back to the Strike Playlist.
Understand that some folks need to leave.. fine.. 5 mins won't impact them.
It's F'ing irritating having all these dumba$$es join and leave constantly because Omnigul is too hard for them.
Edit: To all those complaining about how long some strikes take... you should probably run at level 20. ROC is obviously too hard for you.

Omnigul isn't hard, just takes so long, but I can solo it and not even have to use the cheese room. Undying mind however is almost a raid on its own, long, 5 or so hydras and 90% of everything has a shield.
-
I refuse to do undying mind, and dust palace. They're too damn tedious.
-
Same thing for Valus and Undying Mind. Everybody leaves!! I feel you
-
Why are you complaining? Is it too hard to solo a lowly level 26 ROC strike you -blam!-ing scrub. Link your profile or piss off kiddo.
-
I'll quit a ROC strike if it's one that I don't care for. I paid the same amount of money for this game that you did, and if I get into a strike that I don't feel like running, then who are you to tell me otherwise? Here's a better suggestion. How about a one time majority veto option? If 2 of the 3 members veto the strike, it randomly selects another. I think that would be a nice addition.
-
What about people who disconnect or suddenly have to bail for legitimate reasons? You can't penalize everyone just because you're personally butthurt people bailed. Life happens.
-
Would rather a quitter then a AFK player. I quit strikes too when I'm fed up of running the same one repeatedly so I don't blame them. They quit someone else comes in some dick is afk no one can replace them and they then get loot for your efforts.
-
Sometimes u don't get a chance to quit and all of a sudden your flying off to next mission . Them you find it's the strike u just did ! Fk that . I'm off
-
I dont mind when people leave cause soloing is fun I hate when you solo to the bosses then it pops up that 2 are joining and the run in to finish him off. I hate that. Unless its me running in to finish him off, I love that
-
I'm a patient sort but I can remember a time I got the Archon Priest strike 5 times in a row. That's about enough for me.
-
How about you stop expecting people to have to bow to your whims and desires? I'm playing the game for me. I didn't choose to be partnered up with you or anyone, the game forced you or someone else upon me. I didn't choose the strike, again, the game made that choice. If I don't like the choices the game made, why the hell would I go through with it? What, is the strike too hard for you to do it on your own?
-
First people complain about going afk in a strike then people complain about leaving strikes. Listen I gotta do one or the other if something comes up and leave is the obvious choice :/

Edited by ZHG Doctor: 3/1/2015 11:19:12 PMWould you rather they just sit there, afk, while the strike they hate to play is beaten for them. I have no problem with them leaving.
-
I have no problem with a cool down, the only ones i leave at are omnigal and the cabal one, and they definitely take longer then 5 minutes to run.
-
Edited by PinkiePie: 3/1/2015 10:41:42 PMI quit a strike today at the beginning but only because my friend sent me an invite, otherwise I'd always stay until the end
-
I don't really mind the quitters. I've dropped out of Omnigul for the third or fourth time straight a couple times. What bothers me is the people who afk. That really grinds my gears. I've gone as far as getting to the boss, on the off chance that they think they are getting their strike without dying bounty for free, only for my friend and I to leave him stranded there. Another time me and my buddy decided to teach him a lesson. We went back to the afk monster and sat down right next to him and started playing DS. About 30 minutes later, as if he had just come back, he moved a little and left. Then we finished our strike. We felt like we won that round.

It's nice that - post patch that the same strike doesn't repeat 100000x
-
If people leave at the beginning I just say thanks and solo it. not like the strikes are all that hard.

Edited by drkngt66: 3/1/2015 10:26:22 PMHad 2 quit yesterday on Sepkis Prime level 8 strike (partner doing the 25 strikes bounty), didn't really mind that much was a little irritating when game play stopped for a new player to enter. Sad part both were over level 30

Only time I've ever left a strike is when im running through ROCs and it matchmakes me to the same strike for the 3rd time in a row. With last week's patch this apparently shouldn't be the case any more, so my only reason for leaving is now moot. I don't care about length or which strike it is. I run all of them and even if it's the same as the weekly it's just a dumbed down version. It's actually nice because you're running the same strike but don't have to be quite as careful because there are no burns, level 26, no juggler/light switch etc. even Omnigul ROC is a breeze compared to the last two times it was nightfall.
-
If you are put 3 times into the same strike ...
-
There's a difference between difficult and time consuming. I don't do strikes, I'm just saying.
-
I'll have to agree to disagree, I hate people who just dip because they want a specific strike.....but even I have done this I also hate playing the same strike back to back it feels so annoying I hate omnigul takes much longer than others I think something should be done about afkers I think people should get put into already started strikes more often
-
I think this only applies if there was a better way to deal with afkers
-
Yeah just like the 5 mins to find an other strike won't impact you.
