Along with this great update came "Matchmaking with Weekly Heroic Strike" I absolutely hate this in my opinion. I have two reasons why if you keep reading. I have two characters that can do this strike on its highest level of difficulty. A few minutes ago I just completed it on my second character and was livid with the group I was playing with so I decided to make this rant. 1st problem there is with this new addition to Destiny is when me and a friend decided to do this Weekly Heroic Strike we were matched up with someone who had some really bad connection issues. (Now keep in mind connection issues had never been a problem when we use to do it.) So we decided to continue on the Strike with this random with connection issues we beat it, got our loot and left. 2nd problem I have is getting paired up with guardians who just want to skip past enemies. [b]Especially[/b] the enemies in the room right before Valus. [i]Like really? All they do is spawn inside and make it harder for everyone else. [/i] The guardian who had skipped past the enemies got in the cheese spot, on the lighting fixture above Valus. While myself and the other fire team member stayed on the ground to fight the cabal, all this guardian did was sit up top and snipe him with the IceBreaker. Me and this other guardian got down with Valus at about half both shooting our Gjallahorns at the giant cabal while this level 30 with rare primary and heavy weapons just snipes him with an icebreaker. The level 30 who decided to put this whole strike on himself stayed up in the lighting fixture and died repeatedly, so there was a forced wipe and we had to start over and do this all again. This happened multiple times. [i][b]You're probably gonna question me and say "Why didn't you just leave" [/b][/i] I didn't feel like doing the whole strike over again. The morale of this story is. Try and implement a way to turn match making on or off in the Weekly Heroic. Revive your teammates Guardians. Have fun.
