Did I upgrade my juju for nothing?
So I go to Xur with my bad juju (not even half way upgraded) and buy an exotic shard. Then I proceed to upgrading the bad juju and get the exact same thing. Now I know the perks are reset, I understand that part, but the last node to upgrade still says it requires one exotic shard??? Did I just waste 7 sc and a bad juju? Was I supposed to have it fully maxed before Turing it in to xur? Wtf I'm confused

4 RepliesYou kinda sorta just sh!t the bed. Upgrades are only for pre- DLC level 300 versions.

Once upgraded to the new damage, weapons will not benefit. However, armor can be constantly upgraded when Xûr comes with armor with higher intellect, defense or strength.

To get the upgrade Xur requires 7500 glimmer, one exotic shard and the weapon/armor you want to upgrade, of course you will need that exotic shard for the last upgrade. The one you used was one of the materials required to get the upgrade.

Edited by LONE RONIN2012: 2/28/2015 8:27:39 AMIf your attack value was 302 to start, then yes this was all a waste and you didn't need the upgrade. Like Black said, the upgrades are for pre DLC weapons the only maxed out at 300 attack values.
