Thank you to everyone who reported their issues. We've been doing a lot of data gathering surrounding this issue, and your input has been incredibly valuable. So valuable, in fact, that we have found a cause for the problem and are preparing to deploy a fix so your gamertag information shows up on your Bungie.net profile.
Many of you will find that your Xbox Live gamertags are now appearing on your profiles, and you can access your Destiny account information; you've likely been a part of our science experiments if that's the case. If you still can't see your gamertag and Destiny info by the end of the week, the most likely cause is that you are not on the correct Microsoft account that has your Xbox Live information.
If your gamertag info is still not showing, you can troubleshoot the status of your Microsoft and Xbox Live info [url=http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/forgot-microsoft-account-solution]here[/url].
You will hopefully find that you indeed used a different Microsoft Account. If that is the case, create a new Bungie.net profile with the correct account. If it is not the case, we have seen issues where something in Microsoft's system is not properly reporting your gamertag to Bungie. In this case, Microsoft support has been able to work with customers to resolve this issue.

8 RepliesHello random Bungie guy. I can see my characters, and everything in the app works perfectly, but to anyone inspecting my profile it appears that my account is not linked. I expect you guys'll be as much help with this as you are with everything else, but hey, it's worth a shot. Why don't you have a customer service email like every other company?

Edited by Nightraven V2: 8/7/2015 12:49:55 PMI just downloaded the app & linked my xboxlive account. My gamer tag shows up but it doesn't show any of my characters. I have 3 characters, but it doesn't register that I have the game. App version 3.1.13 build #1611 Using IOS 8.4 on iPad.

My account still doesn't show up when I log in. I have reset my password and everything to try and get the destiny companion app to work. When I log in its either my gamertag with a few letters missing or its my actual gamertag with nothing there. They both say I have never played destiny and I have 3 maxed characters and would love for this app to work. Please help me

I linked my account to bungie with the original email you sent out. I changed my gamer tag. Now my progress is still accumulating but i cant access it through the website or app. I have been able to search on the player spotlight and see me character but i dont have the full access i want. Please help.

Same issue here. Switched from Chrome to Firefox by suggestion elsewhere. Same thing. No silhouette, even with correct advanced settings enabled. Not sure if this post will be noticed but I wanted to try. I'd love to be able to access my characters on my laptop instead of my damn phone lol. Thanks for trying to resolve the issues!

3 RepliesMy Galaxy S4 just updated to Android Lollipop and now I can't see my characters, grimoire cards, etc in the companion app. The only options available for me are the 'normal' options such as News, Forums, Groups, Media, etc... This was working last night before the phone update. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app and deleted the cache and none of these helped. Thanks for working this issue.

However when I try to link my Microsoft account via the companion app it keeps saying We're unable to complete your request Microsoft account is experiencing technical problems. Please try again later. This happens when I click on Microsoft account. This is on iPhone 6 iOS 8.3 Can someone help pls? Thanks

Hi.when i sign into my bungie gamer id tag on bungie.net i can not see my characters.my bungie gamer id tag is differant than my bungie gamer id tag so im not able to view my character and move stuff around but ir i go to bungie.net and dont sign in on the site you no where they have where u can type in a legend id.well if i use my microsoft id then bungie will show my characters but then when i sign into bungie it wont show them so i just dont no what else i can do to resolve this issue i really want to take atvantage of using the destiny app to move stuff around.thx 4 ur help

Gamer tag is Swindog36 1. This is the first time i've tried to use it. Yes 2. This is the first time signing up on this site. Yes 3. Yes I have read the entire article and about 5 pages of other peoples troubles/fixes 4. Yes I verified and can connect to xbox live via computer and xbox 360 and xbox one. 5. My gt is used on both 360 and One. 6. No I am not logged into multiple devices. Only Computer. When I created my bungie account it said there was no gamertag linked to the MS account I used...even though there is. I've logged in and out multiple times and nothing works. When I click on anything it says I need to buy the game.

Also, on here, sometimes can't see any of the weapons, armor, consumables, etc on the app. The boxes are the but nothing inside it. I'm on ps4. But this is the app on my phone, I have an SGS5

Just a heads up, you've been glitching the 3D characters on Google Chrome books. I have two, mine is Asus and hubby's is something different, can't remember, any whoo, I keep getting all kinds of errors from the 3D character.

a few questions. im a bit slow, sorry. haven't been on bungie for a year. 1. how do I quickly link my facebook account. 2. if I do or do not link my fb acc will my bungie acc cease to excist? and finally whats the difference if I do or do not link it to my fb acc. 3 RepliesHello Bungie employee or associate, I can't join a clan for some reason. I have linked my Microsoft and facebook account according to the linked accounts section of my profile, but I can't see any of my friends or their status. Also, when my friends view my profile, it says that I haven't started playing Destiny. I am not sure if there is something wrong with my Xbox live or bungie account, whatever the problem is, I want it fixed. Shouldn't there be a contact number or service for bungie other than a forum?

The app has always shown my information and inventory, stats, ect. But it won't show an actual picture of my guardian just a sillouette
