Secondaries 47
Heavies 43
This should be the cost of Xur weapons. This way the earning debate will end because it will take some kind of significant effort to acquire exotic weapons. Right now the cost is insignificant which makes people salty.
You could start the game on Monday and be able to buy a Gjallarhorn on Friday if Xur sold it. Let people be rewarded for their time invested and less tears will occur.
Edit: The values don't have to be exact but they should be higher.
Challenge: Name one game where you can just buy the best gun in the game after 2 15 minute activities. Entitlement at its finest
You can't equip the best gun in the game until level 20. So unless you can do that in 15 minutes, your argument is invalid.

Price doesn't matter. It could cost 1000 coins, yet as soon as someone purchases something from Xur, people will whine and bitch about that person not "earning" the item. Ridiculous post and even more ridiculous premise.
-
Edited by HooraySushi: 2/28/2015 12:08:46 AMThe price of Xur's wares are fine. There shouldn't be any further barriers to a player's enjoyment of this game, a game, i might add, that lacks content and has an artificially prolonged grind in place. Additionally, the "earning debate" is sad in my opinion. The only people that seem to care about this are elitist douchebags that derive some sense of self-worth from a video game. BTW, entitlement shouldn't factor in to the Destiny equation in any way..it's a game, make believe, escapism. Treat it as such.
-
No. That's so stupid, this whole argument is stupid. Just keep it how it is.
-
Why should there be such a barrier? So people who only dedicate one week of their life to the game can't enjoy it as much as those who spend 2?
-
Who cares. The people on here complaining are loser children with nothing to do. No hard working adult that enjoys video games in particular destiny is going to waste their free time to come on the forums to cry about a pixelated gun. What I do is mute all the posters that cry about what xur sells and I wish everyone would too this nonsense will go away alot faster who really cares what everyone else has? Children that's the answer.
-
I have a great idea! Worry about what you have and stop worrying about what others have. That's the best choice.
-
I missed out on Last Word because I didn't have the time to generate coins. At the time, I wasn't aware of the "price" difference per slot.
-
His inventory is still random. Going though the stages of an exotic bounty is work but getting the bounty itself is up to RNG.

Edited by Wilson12344: 2/27/2015 8:56:17 PMWeekly matchmaking has become RNG now if you get an experienced team or brand new players. That alone is challenging enough.

No way man. The prices should be higher but 50 is crazy. 30 is better.

-
Obviously Bungie will nerf/buff everything even against player demand so I want everyone to have everything. It makes the game a lot more fun. And ultimately that is the only reason I'm still around, because I'll tell you it's not for that piece of gear I don't have.
-
Why does it matter? Be happy your clan mates got guns gear etc and got stronger. But. Guessing you dont have a clan. So you speed your days on here. Bitching. Cute.
-
Who cares? The game should be about having fun and playing the way you want to. Most of the people who want ghallajorn want it for PvE, and if they have the most fun raging through patrols and ghallarjorning every thing that moves then that's fine. I've been playing since launch, haven't been blessed by the RNGesus with icebreaker or ghallarjorn, and since I wanted those for PvE I was grateful for xur selling IB.
-
Not that high, that's ridiculous. Maybe like 30 max but no way that amount
-
In Pokemon. I get the best one ever after like 5 minutes.
-
Not guns, but Gen 3 and 4 of Pokemon. The fire starters were stupid. When did you get the pistol in Halo or the Battle Rifle in Halo 2?
-
Why are you salty about people getting gear? Does it make you feel less of a man?
-
Edited by dead mans: 2/28/2015 12:54:22 AM
Right now the cost is insignificant which makes people salty.
23 coins is 3 weekly heroics. I have 1 character and play oncce or twice a week so thats 3 weeks since im not online enough to get a significant amount elsewhere. Im buying hopf this week. If he sells jellyhorn next week it sucks to be me. Basically the price as it is now is significant to me, and most other people who have full time jobs and lives outside their game rooms
-
We're all looking at it from the perspective of people with 3 31's or 3 32's who do this all the time. A lot of people only have 1 character and thus it would take them well over a month to get enough coins to purchase one gun. Where's the fun in that for them?
-
Everything in this game is easy to complete with a good team. What's the difference between doing two weeklies in 30 minutes to buy an exotic and finishing normal Crota and getting an exotic from there?
