Shotguns
Increased damage against all non-Guardian combatants by 2x (100% increase).
Can anyone tell me why they can buff shotguns with 2x (100%). BUT they couldnt buff the mythoclast for pve, because it would make it to OP in pvp again?
Eventually they decided to make the vex 323 attack because changing that wouldn't have any effect in pvp. But i dont see the shotguns having over 600 attack power now and its only buffed in pve..

I can imagine it already. Vex mythoclast -Damage increased by 100% against alien combatants -Increased accuracy by 50% Edit: An error resulted in the buff being applied to all fusion rifles and the damage buff affecting guardians in crucible as well. We will be fixing this shortly(right before HoW)

Felwinters Lie ftw. I know there are better shotguns but this is the first shotgun I have ever used.

The same reason the fusion rifle nerf affected the vex. Shotguns as a class were able to be buffed against targets that are already tagged as non-guardian. The game identifies this. The vex is an individual weapon, but is still a fusion rifle. All fusion rifles don't need a buff. Actually, pretty sure the vex doesn't need a buff either. It's still better than the necrochasm.

Guess its because they would undoubtably make a mess of things and accidentally buff all fusion rifles. All shotguns got a buff. Every shotgun needed it.

Vex is fine in PvE. I don't know what you think is wrong with it.
-
Well you see shotguns are a weapon class with a specific damage out put that is easy to change. The vex is a singular weapon and harder to change.
-
Cause screw you thats why. They need to buff mythoclast in PvE.
