Recently I thought of a possible change up to the dull public events taking place on the patrol maps. Players don't seem as motivated to participate as much anymore unless they have the achieve gold ranking in public events bounty (Bungie probably made this to motivate players to even bother with them). To amend this I suggest a percent chance to spawn a series of 3 or 4 public events that start with the spawn of Public Circuit Event. Beating this under the time limit will spawn the next public which the group will have to travel to and till beating the third or fourth public event, resulting in a large reward at the end. Now this may seem to easy to some of you but the public events increase in difficulty as you progress making the adding of guardians in the area necessary to completing the circuit. Possibly the final event having to spawn a boss type event that is suggested to be done with 4-6 guardians(though these numbers seem unrealistic for patrol I think players will roam the planets landscapes more often for these circuits.). A just difficult public event would suffice as well I believe. To get to the issue of level of rewards for players who join after some events are completed I believe there will be three levels of rewards(if the circuit had 3 stages). 1. Guardians who participate from the start of Public Circuit Event 1 2. Guardians who came in at Public Circuit Event 2, which receive a step down of rewards but still more than completing the one public event now. 3. Players who engage just one event be it the last or first one. Receiving regular Public Event rewards. Although it may be easier to program anyone who does not participate from start to finish gets a reduced reward, but then players may not be motivated to jump in and help the guardians who did start it. A notification like 'Public Circuit Starting Soon...' Where the minions of crota have started a ritual notification shows up may be a idea. Some other notifications may be 'Public Event Starting in the next <insert time interval here>' I have utter confidence if players on that patrol with immediately invite all their fellow guardians to their instance in order to prepare for its arrival and even spread out to find the starting point. I really hope Bungie would read this and consider this as a possibility and if they did to contact me if they did! So Destiny community let's get some feedback. Cheers!
