WHY AM I STILL GETTING ASCENDANT SHARDS IN Nightfall?
IF I WANTED THEM I WOULD HAVE DONE VOG. It's just upsetting, as a 32 I don't need the shards on any of my characters. It's seriously dumb. The other guys got thunderlord.... Like srsly? Thanks Bungie. 2 buddies got thunder lord and I got shards... Great.

90% of gear uses them. I know it's annoying I've pulled close to 300 this monthish but it is practical i guess?

5 RepliesNightfalls are lvl 30 didn't you ever think that once your past lvl 30 you really don't need anything from the nightfall. Banking on rng blessing you with an exotic isnt exactly smart concidering Destiny rng is iffy at best.

The software isn't set-up to give individualized rewards, but rewards that help all players. If they removed a random reward from the pool, then another player less 'advanced' than you are would miss out on the chance for something they needed. Just because you don't need it means nothing." Why am I still getting green drops? Because the software is setup to accomodate all levels of characters.

Bungie feels it is needed for us to get garbage for the hardest thing in the game (they aren't even that hard either).

I find it extremely disappointing that as a 32, you have yet to figure out the game is RNG based. Destiny is like a box of Cracker Jacks, you don't always get a surprise that you like.

1 ReplyWell description of radiant materials say you can get them from nightfall (not that us 32s with all maxed raid weapons need them) but I never seen any. I would prefer to see those at least over ascendant stuff

1 ReplyI agree with you partially. I know getting shards sucks, but luckily they are transferable so you can level up other characters. Unless all your characters are 32, then I could understand why. Sadly that's how Mmo's work when it comes to loot, not that this game feels like an Mmo at all... Just gives you something to try for next week. Enjoy your weekly exp. buff :D

3 RepliesWhat's the difference between you crying on here over this is or getting a third or fourth (insert exotic you always get duplicates of). Face it in due time it won't matter what you'll get from nightfall cause odds are soon it'll be a duplicate no matter what it is. Crying about it won't help. [spoiler]boo hoo[/spoiler]
