Do You want Raid Matchmaking?
Keep in mind the bad experiences you've had with matchmaking on strikes. People go afk a lot! That would kill a raid! Also, how could you work together with with people you just met?

As shitty as my experiences were the first two times I tried to do a Weekly Heroic with randoms I met in matchmaking, there is no way in hell I want matchmaking added to the raids. I think the best solution would be if you had 4 or 5 people already in a fireteam that would search for the last two people they needed. They could add them through a matchmaking option, and then, if they sucked the fireteam could boot anyone that they didn't want to play with.

As for matchmaking, no. At least not in the way you're thinking, where you load up a raid and it assigns 5 people to your fireteam. I would prefer if there was a roster-like board where you could see people's posts who are looking to do a raid, what level character they have, what class they are, and any other comments they leave. From there, you could pick and choose who you want on your team. That's the matchmaking I want.

For example: level: 30-32 Key word: tracking rocket Mic: Y Would also need a boot option, for a team to boot someone And it would be nice if martchmaking could find balanced teams; ie 2 of each class

2 RepliesThey should make matchmaking optional for raids, just as they should have done with the weekly strike. I do not think it makes sense to make it mandatory though.

5 RepliesThe only problem there would be with Raid matchmaking is if they designed it badly, if they only match people of similar level and experience together (and people with Mics together) then I think it wouldn't be any different than using an LFG site is now, as long as the game has as strict parameters for finding a match as we do for inviting a random then there would essentially be no difference. Of course the matchmaking would really have to be very well designed, and Bungie has already admitted on several occasions that they're not up to the task of making it work.

Nope. Bring friends or LFG (I use [url]http://www.the100.io[/url]) I have no desire to be paired with a random group of people, particularly squeakers with bad manners.

First off, I believe ALL matchmaking should be optional including strikes. Some people as myself would love to run the strike playlist and play solo. Next, last night I was matched with a fellow 32 and a 31. Seeing their levels, I was thinking it would be bad. We get thru to Valus with no one dying. I was like, "cool, this will go quick" and not too bad. I was completely wrong. The 31 hid under the ramp and still kept dying. The 32 kept running around in the open. Would go res the 31 and then he would go off and die. It got to the point where bot of them were dead at the same time, I was staying near the 2 boxes where you walk in and Valus was at 1/2 health. I ended up doing 90% of the work and the 31 got a legendary engram. Basically.........forced matchmaking is complete garbage. I hate teaming with stupid randoms. I would rather solo the strike, than to watch others get rewarded for doing basically nothing.
