Other side note: I don't give two shits about getting the content before its intended release. I'm making this post so this marketing ploy will never happen again.
I'd also like to add that I due still love this game. But I'm just disappointed, as I'm sure many of you are.
As Bat man says( the youtuber I shared the link too) " You see, act as destiny is a dog who just shit on the carpet. You rub its nose in the shit to know what it did wrong( like lack of content, repetitive, and monotonous grinds, no incentive to use other gear besides the best), and place it outside to know where to shit(suggestions, and complaints we need to make)."

His arguments, while sounding convincing, aren't based in the reality of our consumerism in America. Almost EVERY company has something exclusive to them. And they market their exclusive products and exclusive services as superior in order to compete and attract customers. Cars, phones, cable/internet services, just to name a few. Exclusive features/content is nothing new and while yes it's disheartening for the gamer, it doesn't stifle any competition between any of the consoles. The 3 of them (Sony, MS, Nintendo) compete using that exclusive game or content. And if one proves to be a "hit" and popular, the other 2 find a way to emulate it, or make something better, stuck in a perpetual cycle of "one upping" the other. It's perfectly fine to be angry about exclusive content, especially on a game that you really love, but to say it's anti-capitalism and basically defeating, just doesn't hold water.
