I really believe dragons breath should have some kind of tracking for numerous reasons 1st it would make it a much better rocket launcher to actually compete with The other rockets and make it more valuable. And on the other hand so the enemies cant just walk out of the solar flare. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Btw i do have better rocket launchers and i hardly ever use DB just thought it would be a good idea for people to use it more xD
-
This would be so nice.
-
Or how about if the rocket impacts an enemy the flare will stick to them
-
No. Let's not buff exotics by just copying ghorn. What Dragons Breath really needs is to scorch anyone who gets hit by the initial blast.
-
Solar wolf pack rounds would b heaps good
-
oh i know give it explosive rounds that's what it needs
-
I say insted if solar grenade they should of put firebolt grenade... So after the shell exploding then the firebolt hits all the enemies around it .. To me that would of being more like a dragons breath

Edited by Vixlence6623: 2/25/2015 10:23:19 PMMaybe add max velocity When detonated it sticks a fusion grenade to the enemy and drops a solar grenade
-
Oh No! Dragonsbreath doesn't have tracking! I might actually have to aim to kill stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Instead of solar flare it should just burn the targets ala Thorns and some fire grenades extra damage so even if they try to move away they can't. Call the perk napalm rounds or whatever.

Edited by Swiftlock: 2/25/2015 8:47:03 AMTracking won't help the weapon. The problem is that tougher enemies simply walk away from the solar flare. The only thing the DB can do that a regular rocket launcher can't is act as a defensive tool and deal extra damage to stationary enemies. What makes the G-Horn so great is that, typically, the stupid damage sponges can't waddle away from the Wolfpack Rounds. What needs to happen is for the weapon to receive a complete re-work, like having the explosion light enemies on fire and deal massive damage over time, or to apply some other debuff like causing enemies to take additional damage from weapons/abilities.
-
I think it should have tracking and then the solar flare sticks to them like a fusion/magnetic grenade.
-
I think dragon's breath should have cluster bombs that also turn into solar flares
-
I have dB and I think it is fine the way it is. I use against all odds most of the time because obviously I can get more kills with it than a rocket launcher. The only problem I have are the loading mechanics becuase 3 fit in the tube, but when your empty and load 2 or 3 more it shows only one rocket being loaded.
-
I'd rather have the solar flare stick to the target
-
i think dragons breath should not explode and instead leave a fire patch on the ground like the solar grenades
-
Why does everyone think Dragons Breath sucks? Its a ROCKET LAUNCHER. How hard is it to hit something with a rocket?! Tracking is for scrubs...
-
Edited by DemolitionWolf: 2/25/2015 7:07:45 AMGHorn has tracking, lower blast, wolf packs. Truth has tracking, high blast Dragon has no tracking, high blast, solar flare. Guess they think it's balanced... It needs a buff, but if Black Hammer is a legendary and necro is an exotic, then DB as an exotic fits, lol.
-
Make the Solar Flare expand then explode upon impact Then change the perk name to Supernova
-
The solar flare should pull or trap enemies inside it. Not every rocket launcher needs tracking
-
So I read a comment on a YouTube video on how to make dragons breath better, instead of tracking, how about you "guide" the rocket to where you want to go. Kinda like some of the rocket launchers off of Battlefield.
-
I believe the rocket doesn't have tracking because of the solar flare left behind. What if you want to place it somewhere other then with a tracking rocket.
-
Imagine a rocket that left behind a nova bomb.
-
Instead of a stupid flare it should cause residual fire damage just like the Thorn causes extra damage
-
Not trying to derail. But what difference would tracking do on the solar flare? Once the rocket is fired and tracks the target down and hits them ...then the solar flare detonates... ._.
-
I can just imagine a slow moving DB rocket chasing someone
-
would be cool to have the option to select between tripod OR tracking, then it could have multiple uses and cater to the players play style/situation.
