Deathsinger: Should we get loot on both normal and hard mode?
After completing Crota End's NM with my Hunter. I did it again on Hard but we skipped the Deathsinger and used someone's checkpoint to defeat Crota on HM. I didn't realized that once you defeat her in NM, you only get the loot once. So defeating her again in HM does not grant you anything. Now there's no incentive for players to kill the Deathsinger on HM.
This does not make any sense because on the Destiny legend page under Advisors, you can see the the Bosses Looted under raid progress. I had one box missing and I knew it was from the Deathsinger I skipped in HM. After completing the Deathsinger earlier today I didn't get any loot and the box was filled up.
Bungie, why can't we get any loot from the Deathsinger on both NM and HM? Even with the Gorgon Exotic Chest, you can still pick up loot from both NM and HM. Us Destiny players should deserve to have that extra loot, especially another piece of raid armor. Instead the chest after the shrieker/thrall run should give class items along with radiant shards/energy. And Crota should only drop raid helm along with any other bonuses.
It's not like you can cheese the Deathsinger and it still requires a competent group to complete that part. If you think the battle is too easy for us, then add another Deathsinger.

It should probably be fixed in that it was a simple solution to the lack of foresight as it was initially presented, but with HoW rapidly approaching I'm not sure I want bng to spend time and money focusing on it.

1 ReplyHello nsxviper, Originally Ir YúT gave no reward but was then upgraded into a chest, and finally upgraded so that she have a reward. However she still counts as a chest. I believe they made her like the VOG exotic chest, you can get exotics from her, but can only connect loot once a week like a chest.

7 RepliesYou don't get loot from gorgon exotic chest for normal and hard, it's like all chests you get one chance. DeAthsinger is treated like a chest which is why you only get it once.

9 RepliesI believe this isn't a big or a glitch, and that you shouldn't recieve a loot dropped from a boss or section on hard mode if you cleared it on normal. I think this simply because of how much farming you could do to get what you want, its already a lot that your able to potentially run the raid on hard up to 3 times if your characters are able. Now, to be able to obtain loot on normal mode, then go to hard mode and get more loot drops. Thats 6 chances per character (sinces chests no longer give anything but shards or energy, unless I read something wrong, then its more than 6) at a minimum 6 chances to get loot. Thats great! Now thing about the longevity of Destiny. How is it going to last if you can grind out 18 tries at loot a week or a day (if you do it all on reset). How will this game survive if they don't hold us back in some ways? It won't but it also won't survive if major system breaking bugs and glitches aren't patched. So whether this is a bug, or glitch, or Bungie actually fixing the loot table. They need to do more to make it balanced.

Greetings The Death Singer Ir Yut reward system is different she act like a Chest once defeated you get the reward wether it's normal or hard you'll get the same reward once just like any raid chest. Hope it helps
