Ten years today

Ten years ago I was 13 years old. Bungie.net was the first community I ever truly interacted with on the internet. In fact, it was pretty much the first time I ever really bothered with the internet. I was young, stupid, and immature, and the image above proves it (makes me cringe every single time I see it). I said dumb things, I yelled at people that didn't deserve it (inadvertently blaming Stosh before it was a thing..I think), and made a complete ass out of myself, I'm sure. But looking at me ten years ago is a good reminder that we all start somewhere, that anyone can say stupid things, and we all can grow up. Anyway, I've enjoyed a good portion of my time on here. The parts I remember, at least. The first day of this account's creation I created some silly little group called Bungie Wannabes. I remember absolutely nothing that transpired in there (though it never was deleted, so I could take a look). I made some friends there though, and I'm still friends with a few of them today. Pretty happy with the friends I've made on here as a whole, even though it's been a small handful. I've met even a smaller handful in real life thanks to PAX last year, and I'm grateful for that too. I should have probably made more friends here after 10 years though, and that's something I hope to change since I can't seem to stop getting on this site. The biggest portion of my time on this site was absorbed by the groups Halo Movie Clan, Igni Ferroque, and The Marty Army. It was enjoyable to be a part of the Halo Movie Clan while it was still going strong. I always found Shishka to be an amusing smartass, so I liked the group that he created. As for The Marty Army, that's the only group I'm still really a part of today. In February, it'll be my tenth year in that group. It obviously hasn't been the same without Marty and we're still trying to figure out what to do with ourselves, but there's a lot of memories and friends in there, and I'm not planning on leaving. Never really did anything loud on this site, though I made a few popular topics way back when, and there's a topic about I made about balls on the Offtopic forum that simply won't die. Anywho, ten years, blah blah blah, yay me, yay B.net. Did I do this right?

 • You know, I've been with Bungie sense the release day of Halo CE, but I have never had an Bnet account sense about a year ago. I guess I was just more immature then. But I've grown a little. I'm 17 years of age. I really don't know what I'm trying to get at. Well, congrats on the 10 years, I wish I would have made my bnet account when I started Halo.
