So....my wife is pregnant.
My wife and I have been expecting our "little light" for quite some time now, and we just the other day went to find out what it would be.
The doctor ran a few tests and when he was done looked at the both of us and said, "Looks like it's going to be a Titan!"
"That's great!" "Awesome!" My wife and I both said. We couldn't have been happier.
I told the doctor, "I can't wait to see that little guy shoulder charge his way right out of the womb!" (My wife gave me a funny look at that comment).
"Actually, he's a Defender", the doctor said.
My heart sank.
There he was, right on the ultrasound screen, lying still and gentle inside his Ward of Dawn. He looked totally helpless with his Blessing of Light.
"Are you sure that's right?", I asked.
The doctor nodded his head. My wife was not as upset as I, but she was hoping for a female Warlock.
I just sat there, knowing my son would grow up to be picked on for blowing his bubbles and hiding like a coward.
Maybe, someday, when he's old enough, he can get a class change.

Maybe he could use his bubble to suffocate his enemy's by wrapping the bubble around their heads like a plastic bag.

Striker is better... If you don't know what you're doing. There's a reason you don't go into the bubble. Don't -blam!- with the bubble, kid.

At 15 he can select another class. Since it's his first toon. On his alts he can pick his class from the start! :)

Defenders dissolve the essence of their enemies to make themselves stronger for a short time. Destroying them with the Void. Using their bubble to help and save others from harm. Sometimes making them stronger and more deadly. Defenders are the backbone of their fireteam.
