So I have a group of three people I regularly play with. A warlock, a blade dancer/gunslinger, and myself as a defender playing the role of tank. I am currently lvl 26 and I want to start saving/grinding/etc for my late game tank build. I have a build in mind but I want to know peoples thoughts before I end up wasting my time doing things I don't need to do or getting things I don't need to get. I want it to be viable in both pvp and pve(obv talents and what not are changeable but gear isn't and I only have a certain amount of time to play. Anyways on to the build, any ideas, input, etc is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. From what I understand late game melee is only a last resort due to the strength of enemies... Skills: Magnetic Grenade Increased height/control Weapons of light/Armor of light(not sure what would be better) Unbreakable Titan Codex I Relentless Titan Codex IV Illuminated Helmet: Helm of Saint 14 Rest of gear I have no idea, suggestions? (obv want to be able to get to 32 at some point) What stats should I be focusing on? Weapons: Primary: The Last Word(i like the high damage, and fire rate, but its not so great in pve i guess???)/Suros Regime(healing ability, extra damage, seems legit)/Thorn(piercing, negates healing, DoT dmg, rediculously long quest), Vex Mythoclast(high damage, good size mag, idk) What of these weapons would you go with and why? or something else? Secondary: Found Verdict(what I currently have and I am fairly satisfied with it)/secret handshake. I am not a huge fan of fusion rifles because of the charge but this may change if I can be convinced otherwise. Special: I have no idea but I do prefer machine guns, what do you think would be my best bet? What should I focus on first? What should I get? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks again in advance.
