Why must it take so long to get some decent armor?
I just want to play the story... I hate playing Crucible bs. I hate playing against other players. But if I want legendary weapons/armor, I have to play against people that are far too competitive for me in the crucible. And then the amount of time you have to spend grinding in the crucible to rank up is excruciating.. I don't have twelve hours a day to spend on Destiny. Even if I did, I couldn't... I start to get bored of Destiny just waiting for it to load. Am I doing something wrong? Does it take everyone this long to rank up in the crucible? I bought the expansion pass so I could play more of the story. But when you don't have good enough weapons or armor it's impossible. Some of us just don't have the time to spend playing this game continuously to get somewhere. So please Bungie... Please give us a faster, easier way to rank up and get legendary gear so we can just play the story. Please.

It's progression, although a bad one, get used to it because that's how all games work nowadays except some longer than others.

Oh also, on a side note, don't stress out about trying to get gear from faction vendors that match your primary/secondary weapons... That's what I was doing and in the end, if you are pushing for raid gear, their weapon perks are not going to benefit your primary weapon usually anyway (usually) and it's no big deal. Boots usually run bonus heavy ammo, gauntlet usually benefit special weapon reload speed, only chest will usually give ammo capacity for one primary and secondary type.

Then grab all vanguard gear to get to 31.
