One weird thing i have noticed about the Hive is that all of the other enemies and guardians have different factions except for the Hive. Any theories?
Edit 1: i was looking at Grimoire cards but i didn't see the different factions like with the Fallen, Vex, and Cabal.
Edit 2: The Hive may be a Hive mind but the Vex are of one mind as well and the Grimoire cards tell us of three different Vex factions.
Edit 3: I found the three Hive factions but lets still explore the fact that everything has three factions. Why three factions for Guardians, Fallen, Hive, Vex, and Cabal?

Edited by gingernutty: 2/17/2015 3:08:56 PMHive. It's a hive mind. You don't see Bees forming factions, do you?

it's literally called "the hive" and not "the group of similar creatures casually staying together"
