I'm about to make my first warlock by deleting one of my titans. Which class should I rank up first? Sunsinger or Voidwalker?
Edit; I do have obsidian mind and light beyond nemesis which is why I figured I might as well give it a shot. Plus destiny has been a little bland lately. Looks like void walker might be the more fun route.

Voidwalker is the funnest class to play around
-
Voidwalker

Seems to me you would be better off deleting your hunter and making a third titan! #titanmasterrace

If you're coming from a Titan, Sunsinger will feel more familiar. If you're a fan of teleport (you better be) then. VOIDWALKERRRR!!!!

Edited by Big Sxy3512: 2/13/2015 11:35:39 PMI started day one as a warlock. Did void walker first. I did fully lvl up the sunsinger too, but voidwalker is deg my favorite. I do have one of each guardian with all subclasses unlocked. Voidwalker is the most fun for me. Axiom grenades and split novas just make me smile. Combine that with obsidian mind and juju and destiny is just a giggle-fest. I bought the voidfang for PvP and when paired with voidwalker it's really nice. Extra bolt on the grenade and every time you die you spawn with film grenade energy. .....and 95% of my play time is In pve

Void walker is much more satisfying to play with, obsidian mind and bad juju combo means supers build really quick, but these aren't necessities.
-
Sunsinger if ur a pve guy
-
I like sunsinger for pve and void walker for pvp. It just depends on what you play most.

Edited by Soki: 2/13/2015 11:07:30 PMHmmm that's a really hard choice. People could argue that void is far more destructive but if you don't have obsidian mind sun singer can be just as face melty in PVE with spammed fusion grenades If you like aoe go void If your a single target guy go sun singer Plus the revive is nice
-
Voidwalker for pve and pvp unless you need a crutch, go sunsinger.
-
Depends voidwalker for pvp and sunsinger for story/strikes/raids just depends on what you play
-
Voidwalker for offence Sunsinger more defensive play
-
Edited by TSL BestOfMe: 2/13/2015 10:54:34 PMThat question really depends on which type of game you play more. If you're a PvP guy, then Voidwalker. If you're a PvE guy, I'd say Sunsinger.
-
Whichever one you choose. Sunsinger is more of a berserker/support class. Voidwalker gives you more opportunities to heal yourself while being able to dish out punishment.
-
I'm so close to maxing out my voidwalker and I just stayed on it. I didn't got to sunsinger at lvl 15, but from what I'm readying when I researched it a few days ago sunsinger is more defense and for helping out your team. There is one perk I read about in the sunsinger section that you can revive yourself if down (forgot what it was called.) You can keep going void or stray off at 15 and try the sun out. To each their own
-
they are both awesome, but I would do void walker so you can use supers and really enjoy the class. As a sunsinger you either save your super for revives or use them to decrease cooldowns which can be fun, but I find it really satifying to jump up and unload a nova bomb on a pack of enemies and see them vanish into oblivion.
-
Unlike most I say if you're good at pvp sunsinger is actually pretty good.
-
Edited by BothBullet: 2/13/2015 10:36:06 PMI don't know about you, but I prefer void walker
-
If you like a more attack approach, void walker. And if you like a more defensive, tactical approach and like Self-Ressurection (yes I know I spelled it wrong) then sunsinger is for you. Hope this helped!
-
I prefer voidwalker, for personal enjoyment and pvp. If you're running nightfall, raids with friends and stuff of that nature then go sunsinger. (Or whichever you have the gear for, assuming you've amassed some warlock exotics at one point or another)
-
Sunslinger for sure
