Bungie, is there any way to change your perk roll algorithm to be more 'intelligent'? The way it stands now, you can get some astoundingly bad combinations. For instance, a One Way Ticket 000 that tracks and holds 1 round with a bunch of stability upgrades. All useless if I'm reloading after each shot anyway. Also, why does Dragon's Breath have Heavy Payload? It's Blast Radius is already at 96. Why in the world would anyone choose that perk when you can nearly double the Velocity with Javelin? It's like putting Send It on a Sniper Rifle that already has max range (remember Ice Breaker?). Seems to me the ball keeps getting dropped regarding weapon functionality.

the vanguard shotgun secret handshake has some decent perks. shot package and hammer forged
-
Yep got a vanquisher with who's next and spray and play. Whilst spray and play is better of the 2 I have useless perk spot on the weapon. Give us perk re rolls like iron banner.. cough cough gun smith!
-
Heck I haven't even had a legendary drop in two weeks im in a drought right now
-
Yeah, sometimes the perks come out all screwy. Once, I got Reactive Reload on a heavy machine gun...
-
Thats like my exodus plan with outlaw, zen moment, tripod and field scout.
-
Don't feel bad, I have a shotgun that the perks on it are "kills with this weapon increase reload speed for a short time", and then "getting a kill with the final round increases reload speed for a short time". Call me crazy but the first perk would already do that... fn rng. Lol.

Bungies development team has completely dropped the ball. Raids buggy as hell, weapons like you said have useless perks and don't change at all, every 32 has the same armor and the same story about how they got it which is exactly the opposite of how they said armor and the story would be, instead of fixing parts of the game that glitch out they nerf weapons for PVP crybabies. I'm staying til HoW because I've already paid for it but after that I'm 99% sure I'm done with this game. I hope that a majority of players also feel that way. Maybe it'll make them get their s*** together
-
That's cheap as hell to have all the best perks on one thing. They obviously have to have bad perks otherwise there would be no good perks
-
I have a One Way Ticket 000 with useless perks as well. Mulligan is useless because you always hit something with it, even if it's the ground, never received any ammo back from it. And Third Eye... Who the hell will keep ADS with a rocket launcher?
-
Well some times u get good rolls too. I got a "up for anything" with bonus damage after kills and bonus damage after reloads. 2 bonus damage perks is probably rare as hell though.
-
Last round increased reload on a machine gun is always a mood killer.
-
Lol I got a radegast fury from IB and my very last roll on it I got "this gun is easier to aim under fire" and "the pick up radius for this weapon is larger" the middle tree was increase velocity, increase reload, and single point sling... Smh worst roll for a rocket launcher ever
-
Glass half full appears to be broken Someone misstyped a decimal point in the code or something cause a 2?Percent bonus is pointless
-
That Vacuum perk seems pretty useless too.

Edited by Tlaloc___: 2/15/2015 12:12:08 AMI'd love a reroll option. I'd spend motes like IB, a commendation, marks, or all three. I'd even buy the weapon multiple times if the perks were randomized.

My christmas present was an another nitc with bad perks. The only useful is rodeo.

Totally agree on rocket launchers with stability perks. Totally useless.
