It is repetitive in a very confined world of content.
There is no choice: even your skill and weapon set are dictated by the gear you have. This is due to a very limited array of top end gear.
There has been no new content added, only new graphics... and those graphics were added to the world, not gear where it is desperately needed.
I stopped playing this Tuesday and I haven't even done the raids. Why bother? The gear is a minor improvement, there is no reward for reaching 30 or 32, I'll look the same as everyone else, and I'll still have the same repetitive content that does not improve my characters in any way.
That is why Destiny is boring. Summed up in one word the game is narrow.

Otherwise your levels are all scaled in every aspect of the game totally negating the use of any additional strength gained from light or offense/defense levels. Even abilities gained from that grindy raid gear are dominated by raid specific perks. Cool now I can reload faster when oversoul is out. . . My fire team is good enough to not die at that fight. . . Thanks for wasting a perk slot in every piece of my raid gear.

I'm 31 and I have cleared Crotas End on Normal. I have got up tpto Deathsinger on Hard Mode. There really is no sense of progression. I am scaled down when fighting lower level enemies to help friends. The weapon damage between 300 & 333 is very insignificant. It has become dull and boring. You never really feel like you achieve anything.
